Why does a comment or a new thread not show up for more than 2 hours??
We Admins have lots of other responsibilities. We don't just sit at our computers all day posting comments. We read each comment before posting it, so sometimes you'll have to be patient.

Yes, it would, as much as I enjoy it here. Never to do anything else would be extremely boring. But I think it might be possible that Vida is just wondering this because it's been taking longer than it used to. Not that she's been on here long... But maybe she's like Leaf and just sat reading for a while before she came. Anyway, I think the Admins are a bit busier than normal in the summer, or else they just take more breaks. I think it might have been the same last year, too, now that I come to think of it... I'm not sure, though. It could be an error of memory. But Vida, just keep in mind that they can't spend every waking hour here, especially when their waking hours aren't always the same as everyone else's.
Yes, we Admins go on vacation, too!

Admins are people too! They have rights. Hmm ... maybe I should start SPAW, Society to Promote Admin Welfare. Just like SPEW except for Admins instead of House Elves.
Admin LIKES reading and approving posts. Admin likes being free, but Admin does not want too much. Admin likes work better. -Admin

Thank /you/ for it. I didn't think of it that way until you said it. I didn't really have a mental image of the Admin at all -- but now I do. XD
And technically, I suppose the A in SPAW should be for Administrative rather than Admin. Right?

But then it sounds like the welfare is being Administrated. I think it should be Administrator. After all, SPEW was Society for the Promotion of Elf Welfare, not Elfin Welfare, right? Or did I get it entirely wrong? It's been far too long since I've read HP...

So do I! I love his socks, and the way he talks (hey, that rhymes: socks, talks!) and the way he's always punishing himself for something. But then JKR had to go and kill him in the last book! WHY, JKR? WHY?
