"Greetings, I'm
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
"Greetings, I'm Oceanstar. This is my Clan, a Clan on an island in the ocean!" She walked across a tree bridge onto an island. Oceanstar walked through a tunnel of low hanging trees and entered a large island. "This is our territory. We are water cats, we love to swim and fish. I will give you a tour of the camp, but if you join, I will give a tour of our territory." She walked into a small forest of trees into a clearing. "This is our camp. The big stone at the far end is the High Stone. That is where I call Clan meetings. That hollow tree trunk over there is the apprentices den. There is another tree trunk, a smaller one, inside the trunk, that is kind of like a table that the apprentices eat at and share tongues." They continued their tour at the nursery, where there was a faint scent of milk and kits. "My sister once was living here. She died last moon, with her kits." Oceanstar became to sniffle, but stopped, "We must continue with the tour. Let's go to the warriors den." They walked towards a clump of brambles. "This is the warriors den. I used to be sleeping here, until a StarClan cat told me to go to the moon rock. The moon rock is kind of like the moonpool, but it's a rock on a part of the beach. Let's carry on at the elders den. It is a bush of brambles with a branch ceiling. Let's go to the medicine cat's den." They walked into a large rock with a crack in it. "The crack leads towards a small cave with two tunnels leading out of it. One of the tunnels leads towards the main and the med. apprentice's den, and the other one leads towards the herb store. The small clearing when you first walk in is where the sick cats stay. It's also where the water spring is. I'm going to show you my den, alright? Let's go!" Behind the High Stone is a cave covered with sand as a floor. "The cave is my den, but it isn't hidden from the rest of the Clan. That is my Clan, and I hope you will join. Why don't you get some fresh-kill, and I will show you to your den. Thank you, and may StarClan be with you!"

"I'm so sorry, my beloved Clan! There wasn't much conversation, but this is definitely something to talk about! Oh, you're doing fine, Clovertail! Dustwhisker, you may join as an elder, but I think you might want to watch this." I went into the den, and saw little Pinekit pawing at his mother, but her eyes were screwed up, and her mouth was in a painful frown.

The second kit was a black she-cat with a splash of white on the tip of her tail. "I'll name you Nightkit," Clovertail said. She began to lick her two new kits.
(June 4, 2010 - 9:25 pm)
"Oh Clovertail your kits are beautiful!" she purred. "Pinekit and Nightkit. Those are wonderful names!"
(June 5, 2010 - 12:00 am)
"Thanks Yarrowleaf. You'll probably mentor one of them." Nightkit began to chase Pinekit around Clovertail. They both tripped over her tail and landed in a heap on top of each other. Pinekit stared up at Yarrowleaf with wide eyes. Nightkit saw Yarrowleaf's tail pounced, caught it in her tiny paws, lost her balance, and fell over.

"Congrats, Clovertail. They will grow to be wonderful warriors. Fireflight, since Summerberry hasn't posted in a while, for now you are the full medicine cat."
(June 5, 2010 - 1:26 pm)
"Those are some mighty fine kits you have," Dustwhisker said to Clovertail. "I once knew a queen who had kits right near a fox den. Now, since I was a a young warrior, it was my job to potect her from the vicious fox." Dustwhisker went on and on about the fox until Falconwing suggested he let Clovertail get some rest. Clovertail looked at her gratefully and finished licking her kits.
Dustwhisker padded into the clearing and yawned. He found a flat rock in the sun and stretched out on it.

"Clan, listen up! I have thought of a new training skill, called the Ocean Strike. All warriors, meet me in the beach."
At the beach
"To do the Ocean Strike, you need to understand how the ocean moves and how it's feeling. Falconwing, tell me how the ocean's feeling.
"Uh, I think that it's mad."
"And Yarrowleaf, tell me why the ocean's mad."
"Er, maybe because someone made it mad?"
"And how can someone make the ocean mad, Whispertide?"
"You could do something to it that it doesn't like, I guess."
"Good, all of you. Now, watch the waves, how they curve upward, and then crash down onto the shore. Then they recoil, pull upward, and crash down again. Let's say the shore is a BlueClan warrior. He is invading our island, and you are attacking him. You mush curve your body upward, and crash down on his head. Whispertide, come here and be the warrior." He walked over with a nervous look in his eyes. He made me laugh. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you." I curved my body, let out a terrifying hiss, and fell on his head. I jumped off his head, then let him think that I gave up. Then I spun around, circled him, and jumped onto his flank. "That, is how you do the Ocean Strike!"
(June 5, 2010 - 7:12 pm)
"Awesome move Oceanstar!" Falconwing started to try the Ocean Strike on a nearby rock. She arched her back, jumped, and crashed down on the rock, pretending it was a cat from an enemy clan.
After she practiced a bit with the rock, she began to sneak up on Whispertide. She did a perfect Ocean Strike to him, landing squarly on his head. He rolled onto his back, his tongue out in pain. "Uh, Whispertide, are you all right?" Falconwing prodded him with her paw. But he was only faking to be hurt. He leapt up and they began to roll around in a play fight.
(June 5, 2010 - 9:35 pm)
"Thank you, you are all dismissed. Wonderful moves, and thanks, Flaconwing."
(June 6, 2010 - 2:45 pm)
"Wow Oceanstar! That is a great move!" she tried it on her former mentor Whispertide and at first stumbled but then tried it again and got it right. Yarrowleaf, Falconwing and Whispertide play fighted for a while then went back to camp.
(June 6, 2010 - 7:58 pm)
"Wow I'm a full medicine cat! Doesn't that mean we have to go to the Moonpool?" she asked.
(June 6, 2010 - 8:01 pm)
"Fireflight, am I allowed to go out of the camp now? Just for a little exercise. I need to stretch my legs."
(June 7, 2010 - 5:43 pm)
"Falconwing, Yarrowleaf, wake up!" Whispertide meowed. "We're going on dawn border patrol." The two younger warriors groggily shook themselves awake and followed Whispertide out of the camp.
They were almost finished checking all the borders when Whispertide picked up the sound of other cats. He ran towards the mewling with Falconwing and Yarrowleaf right behind him. He stopped to smell the air, then nosed aside a pile of pine needles to reveal two newly born kits! One was an orange-brown tom, and the other was a white-gray she-cat. The patrol searched but couldn't find any sign of the mother. They decided to bring the kits back to OceanClan. "I think their mom is the loner we discovered earlier," meowed Whispertide. "But I wonder why she would just abandon them." Suddenly the whole patrol stopped. They could all sense a fox, and it was nearby! "Come on," Whispertide motioned with his tail for the others to run. "Let's go back to the camp to put these kits in the nursery, and then a patrol can come back to find this fox." They all bounded off.
(June 8, 2010 - 6:41 pm)
Clovertail was watching her kits roll around the nursery when Falconwing burst in holding two new tiny kits in her mouth by their scruffs. "The dawn patrol found them abandoned in the woods," she explained. "Will you keep them if Oceanstar lets you? You can also name them." Clovertail agreed to keep them and began to lick the dirt from their fur. She decided to name the orange one Foxkit and the light gray one Swishkit. The clan would have lots of apprentices soon, she thought.
(June 8, 2010 - 6:57 pm)
"Oh my, what adorable little kits! I'm glad that they have a wonderful adopted mother like you, Clovertail. Now, Whispertide, show me this fox you smelled." They ran out of the camp, and saw the loner and the fox fighting. The loner had lots of scratches and blood streaks, and the fox hasn't even broken a sweat. The four of us swooped into the battle and the loner stared at us, realized that we were helping, and hid in a hollow tree.
