Hello everybody!!! I...

Hello everybody!!! I really want to do a Harry Potter Role Play, but all the ones I have done no one ever posts. So if you do post please post often! I think that we should do it with the same teachers, ghosts, and characters. We can also have the same things that happen. We can have the same things in the books, but with new characters and stuff. So please come and post, post, POST!!!!!!

"Whew! I thought that car ride would never end," said Kat as she climbed out of her family's rather small car. The drive had been really chaotic, involving an owl and a crazy giant purple bus, which was unnoticed to everyone except Kat.

At the brick entrance to platform 9 3/4, Kat said her final farwells and gave her last hugs to her parents. Then she charged through onto the platform, where the train to Hogwarts awaited.

Kat boarded the Hogwarts Express with two of her friends. She lost track of the conversation when her cat, Sesame, started chasing Dippet, her owl, down the car of the train. She finally caught up with them and put Dippet back into his cage.

On her way back to her compartment, she passed a new first year quickly walking away from a gang of Slyhterin 7th years. Kat glared at them and rejoined her friends. They all stuffed themselves with cauldron cakes (Dippet's favorite food) and pumpkin juice until Hogwarts came into sight.

Kat jumped off the Hogwarts Express and waved to Hagrid, who was busy herding first-years.

Kat climbed into a carriage. Pulling it was a scary-looking horse, which Kat had always been able to see, because she had witnessed the death of her older sister. Kat had always looked up to Leslie, until that one horrible day...

Kat closed her eyes and tried to shut out the memory. She was in no mood for sad thoughts right now. She joined her friend's conversation about the newest broomstick model.

After a delicious feast and a half funny, half stern speech from Dumbledore, Kat drowsily climbed to the Ravenclaw common room. She picked her favorite chair beside the fire and stroaked Sesame, who was curled in a tight ball in Kat's lap.

That year's quidditch captain, Roger Davies, approached her and said, "Hey, Kat, we're going to need you on the team. I saw you training last year. You're a great seeker." He was blushing slightly, which put me a little off."

"Uh, yeah don't worry." Kat desperately thought of a conversation topic. "Did you see the Chudley Cannons beat the Tornados last week?"

"Oh, yeah, that game was awesome! The Cannons have a great keeper."

"He's amazing," Kat agreed. "Well, I'm really tired. 'Night."

"Don't forget the tryouts tomorrow," he called as we climbed the stairs to our dormitories.
