Name: Alexandria Brunner

Age/Year: 11/1st year

House: ???

Appearance: Average height, glasses, slightly curly hair, skinny.

Best Class: Flying

Likes: Flying, Reading, Dueling, Charms, Transfiguration

Dislikes: Slytherin, Death Eaters, Voldemort

Let's make this revolve around the books, like at the first book. 'Cause then it would be just a, um, Hogwarts RP or something. Same characters, but adding in new ones. Same teachers, and same events. Does that sound OK? If not, just say so and we can work something out. I'll start it!

Alexandria jumped into the car and loaded in her luggage and her cat. "Come on, Dad! We're going to be late!" she complained.

"Slow down, speed racer! We have plenty of time! This thing says that we have... 45 minutes left until 1:00."

"Yeah, but dad, it takes us 45 minutes to get to King's Cross!! We're never gonna make it!"

"Then let's get there by....MAGIC!!!"

"Oh, dad, you wouldn't!"

"I think that we all know that I would!!" He went outside and put a charm on the car. Then, he went back into the car and started to drive.

"Dad, make sure you make us invisible! We wouldn't want a muggle sighting!" Soon, they had made it to King's Cross station. "Bye, dad."

"My little one is all grown up! I think I'm gonna cry" He started to sniffle, but Alexandria stopped him.

"DAD!! I'm going now!" She walked through the portal and onto The Hogwarts Express. As she was walking down, one of the fifth years stuck their foot out of their compartment and tripped her. "AHHHH!" She yelled as she fell to the ground. "HEY! What was that for ?" She yelled, but they had closed their compartment door like it had never happened. She found a nice compartment to herself and sat down, letting her cat, Sootfur, a midnight black she-cat, wander around the compartment. "Sootfur, I think that this is the first step to the rest of our lives." She whispered to her.

Hey, Sarah. Maybe you should try joining one of the other HP roleplays that is just getting started; that might be better than trying to start another that people have to keep up with. (Most of the people who do HP RPs are the same people on different RPs.)

The train stopped at Hogsmeade Station and it was chaos trying to get out of the train. Voices were everywhere, luggage was hitting people, everybody was trying to get to their friends. If you were smart, you would stay in your compartment. Alexandria planned on doing this, but excitement got the best of her and she went out early. Through the train she went, passing all the chaotic people. So far so good! she thought. Then the worst happened. The Slytherin gang that tripped her when she got on the train stepped in her way. "Um... Excuse me, but I need to go through there, and your'e blocking my way," she said. "Hey," The biggest one, obviously their 'leader,'said. "Let her go. She might be one of us." They finally moved out of the way, and there was a crowd forming waiting to get out. Finally! I thought I was dead meat back there! she thought.

Yeah, but Brynne, nobody ever posts that often on all the other ones that I have tried. It just isn't really fun in an empty conversation. :(

Forget what I said earlier about me being in my 1st year at Hogwarts. I'm switching to 3rd year because I think it would be easier if we're all in the same year. I guess that would make me 13. Would it also mean that this is taking place in Harry's 3rd year, with the same events happening?

Kat and her family finished up their dinner at the Leaky Cauldron.

As they picked up their bags from Diagon Alley, her mom asked, "Are you absolutely sure we got everything you need, dear? Remember last year we forgot to buy your potions ingredients and my little Kattikins had to borrow some from Professor Snape? And--"

"Yes, Mom, I remember. Can we go now?" Kat interrupted. Some nearby 7th-year Slytherins were starting to snicker. Kat couldn't tell who looked more dumb: them, or the old hag sitting at the table next to them. Kat couldn't help it that her parents were Muggles and knew almost nothing about the Wizarding World.

Yep, I'm a Mudblood and proud of it, she thought, glaring at the Slytherins and walking cooly out of The Leaky Cauldron with her parents and two younger sisters.

"Wow..." She said as she was looking up at Hogwarts. "I wonder how I'm ever going to find my way around!" The first years walked into the castle and filed into the Great Hall. She waited patiently as Mrs. McGonagall called out the names. "Brunner, Alexandria." She called out. Alexandria walked up to the stool and put on the Sorting Hat. It tickled her fore-head as it yelled, "HUFFLEPUFF!!"

Leona stood on the platform, trying to disentangle herself from her sister's arms.

"I'm sorry you can't go, Joy."

"I don't want to go, I want you to stay home!" wailed seven-year-old Joy.  Her light blue eyes were full of water, close to Leona's eyes as she bent down to the little girl.

"I have to go to school," said Leona.  "Remember you didn't want me to go to the Academy?  But then you changed your mind..."

"You wouldn't be gone for a whole year!" she yelled.  Joy pulled away from her older sister and ran back to Momma, who was standing with their brothers, five-year-old Jack and ten-year-old Ben. Momma was looking rather dubiously around at the hustle and bustle of the witches and wizards around her on platform nine and three quarters.

"Come back here, Joy!" said Leona.  "I have something for you."

Joy paused and turned back.  She couldn't resist a gift, but she still narrowed her eyes suspiciously as she brushed a strand of her wispy red hair out of her face.

"What?" she said, taking a few steps toward Leona.

"A story.  Think of the fun you'll have when you finish the story, and tell it to me when I come home!"

"I don't care.  Tell it to me, but you're not going to come back!  I-I know you're n-not!"  Joy started sobbing again, and she ran over to Leona and flung her arms around her sister.

"I'm going to come home.  I promise, Joy.  I promise I will!"  Leona winced in the pain that the words of her sister brought.

"Papa promised too.  He promised to come home with Auntie and Uncle and with a chicken.  And he promised a me a dolly!"

"How do you even remember that, Joy?  You were only four!"

"I remember," said the girl stubbornly.  "Give me the story and no promises!"

Leona sighed.  Then she said, "Once upon a time..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leona sat in the swaying train carriage, thinking.  Across from her sat a short Asian girl with long bangs, reading a thick book covered in brown leather.  Leona herself had straight strawberry blond hair of a medium length, long limbs that were currently knotted in worry, and bright, piercing green eyes.
Leona Golda Hart was by now quite used to carrying her family's worries, but it had made her look years older than 15.  When she was 12 years old her father had taken a train to her aunt and uncle's house, and then taken them back to visit.  But that visit never occured.  The driver of the train had drunk an entire bottle of whiskey before he started off, unbeknownst to anybody.  He mistook a red single for a green in his rather drunken state, and a terrible tragedy happened when the two trains collided.  Only three people perished.  They were her aunt, uncle and father.
Leona's Momma was doing her best to support her four children on the income of her teaching job, the money in her father's will and a part time job, but it wasn't easy.  Leona was given the job of caring for her brothers and sister.  That was how she discovered a talent for telling stories, to keep the little ones quiet.  When she had time she would run down to the Salem Witches Academy, where a kind witch teacher gave her lessons for free.  Then her mother heard of an opportunity to be a governess in England for a rich family's children.  So that was how Leona Hart came to be on the Hogwarts Express, surrounded by hundreds of thick English accents and heading off to the unknown.
Sorry that was sooo long!  To be continued!
Alexandria sat down at the Hufflepuff table as everybody there cheered for her. At the end of the feast, she followed the prefects to the Hufflepuff common room. She was last in line, and the gang of Slytherins stepped in front of her. "I guess you aren't one of us after all. And guess what we do with first-years who aren't one of us?" The leader challenged. "Uh... Send them off with a pat on the back?" She asked hopefully. "No where close." Just then, more Slytherins came up with their wands at the ready. "We jinx them." "Hey hey hey, what's going on here? Alexandria, you should be in the Common Room!" The Hufflepuff prefect walked up and took Alexandria to the Common Room. "You'll be sleeping in there." He pointed to a tunnel that looked very uninviting, but when she walked in, there were plenty of comfortable beds and sat down in one. Sootfur jumped up into her lap and began to purr like a motorboat.
Alexandria looked up at the ceiling of her dormitory and thought to herself I'm so lonely. My life really stinks. Why did I have to be chosen to be a wizard? I wish I was back home, with my family. All I have is Sootfur, and that really isn't enough, even at school I didn't have any friends. I'm so lonely. Sleep finally came over her, and soon she was waking to the sound of the other girls waking up and getting dressed. She followed them, and before she knew it, she was eating breakfast in the Great Hall. Mrs. McGonagall came around to pass out the schedules. "I'll see you in Transfiguration, Ms. Brunner," she stated as she gave her her schedule. "Yeah, I guess." At the end of Transfiguration, she made a little mental summary of her class. At the beginning, I got teased from my glasses, I cut a poor little rat in half instead of turning it into a cup, but at the end, I managed to turn my glasses back to their regular shape! she thought. She looked into her bag and saw that she had Charms next. Charms is always a fun time! Alexandria remembered her mom telling her when she got her letter.
