Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Worst Books Ever
Okay, so we...
Okay, so we all know books are cool, but sometimes they are just really really weird. Anybody know where I'm coming from?
(these are just opinions, remember)
1. A Wrinkle in Time series was just plain bad.
2. The City of Ember was good, did not fit my taste.
3. The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls (weirrdd)
4. So B. It (not awful, but not very good, either)
5. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer (gross)
6. Queste by Annie Sage- worst in the series

A Wrinkle in Time was awsome. And A Wind in the Door. AND A Swiftly Tilting Planet. AND Many Waters. I want to read An Acceptable Time! :D but from what i've heard from most CBers, never read Twilight. Or anything by Stephanie Meyer, as a matter of fact. Note your No. 5.

@Katie: Tangerine I mainly don't like because I had to read it a few summers ago for school and write a paper on it. I also didn't understand any of the soccer/sports terms, so that made it more confusing. I'm actually planning on re-reading it, though, to see what my view is (a) two years later and (b) when I choose to read it instead of being forced to.
I quite enjoyed Inkheart and Inkspell, and Inkdeath was okay, but I didn't like it as much as the other two (if I remember correctly - I haven't read these in a while). Bridge to Terabithia is one of my favorite books and [SPOILER ALERT] although it is sudden and tear-jerking when Leslie dies, I still love the book. I also enjoyed City of Ember, though for some reason, I can never get more than a few chapters into the sequel every time I try.
I've heard of Airborn! I love all three books, and I'm glad someone else read them and liked them.

OK, TNO, I know you said this a long time ago, but I have to disagree with you about Catcher in the Rye. I happened to like that book quite a bit! I thought it was funny. It got a bit depressing at times, but I still liked it.
And AWiT MOVIE stinks. :P I had never been in tears of boredom while watching a movie before I watched that one. Towards the end I was literally crying for it to be OVER.

Really??? I luv #1, 2, and 6... Queste was my favorite book in the series!!! #4 (above) was okay. I really did not like There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom. It was immature and really pointless. I like the Emily Windsnap series and Found and all of Haddix's books. I really don't read books that I don't like, so I don't have many books that I don't like. I recommend the books Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras. (They are sequels.)
