Hey everyone! <3 I know this isn't a very active realm of the CB, but I had a really cool idea. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a book club on the CB! I joined a book club in March, and it's been awesome! I realised that book clubs are super fun when you don't have to do a bunch of school assignment around it and read something like Johnny Tremain or Lord of the Flies. Nothing against classic literature, but my brain can only take so much of the Bard's work.
Anyway, for our book club we could choose what books we want to read, set reading deadlines, and discuss the book on the CB! We could also do small writing challenges and stuff, but I don't want it to be like school. I've been trying to read more during quarintine, and I hope other people are too!

Happy Wednesday, everybody! I finished reading the chapters just yesterday because I was procrastinating. I think the book's really good so far. I can just see Ivan's adorable kitten face in my mind when I'm reading it. It makes me really want a kitten. Also, I have a question: What did you all think of Rodeo? At first I thought, oh, he's gonna be a weird strict meanie, but he's actually a total softie. Like the opposite of what happened in that story, False Impressions. What did you all think?

Coyote is really good at speaking to other people! I feel like she is very confident and smart!
Also, I am usually more of a dog-lover, but Ivan sounds SO cute! What are y'all's favorite parts?

I think my favorite part is where she meets the brothers and gets Ivan. Partly because I love Ivan (he sounds SO cute!!!), but also because I like the brothers and it was really nice of her to buy the little one a slushie.

Genres I like: I like pretty much any genre as long as it is written well, the one genre I don't like much though is romance
How long it takes me to finish a book: It depends, if I have lots of time or really love the book, I read it pretty quickly, but if it isn't that good of a book, or it's assigned from school, I can take longer to read it. Right now though I have plently of time for reading so I should be able to read the book it whatever timeframe is chosen.
Books I'd be interested in reading: I think reading the Lord of the Rings series would be interesting but it is long so I understand if it wouldn't work well for this
Do I have access to books: I have a tablet that has an app for my library online, I also have an account from school for online books

Yeah, I finished it too and it was really good. I was only able to get it as an audiobook, which makes it easy to read ahead.
