Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Guess This Quote!!!
There was one...

There was one of these on here a while ago, but it sorta died and I liked it so... why not try again?

It's pretty self explanitory. Someone says a quote from a book, and we have to guess which book it's from. Whoever guesses it gets to post the next quote. Here goes!

“They crawled toward each other, and then with some unspoken understanding, both pushed off the floor with their hands and stood. Four parents and many bemused party guests watched as the two babies took their very first steps, crashed into each other, and fell to the floor laughing.”

11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass!

"Buckinghamshirevilleton?" she whispered. "Are you out of your mind? How are you supposed to save another dimension when you can't even get out of an airport?"

The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning by Chris Colfer!

My life as a human was a glamorous one, although my parents, traditional sorts, would not have approved.

I don't know what yours is either, Leo. But I feel like I should have known the one from 11 Birthdays. I love that book.

That's from Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins!

"I woke up early on that Saturday morning of my thirteenth birthday and lay still and silent for a long, long while, just waiting. Nothing felt too different yet. I couldn't see through the ceiling or turn on my lamp with a blink or a wink. I couldn't float up off my mattress or make my pillows disappear."

It’s not The Cloak society... Is it from School for Sidekicks? Or something, I can’t remember the full title.

The problem with growing up around highly dangerous things is that after a while you just get used to them.
