Chatterbox: Blab About Books

InkHeart
Inkheart is a...

Inkheart is a very good novel about a girl called Meggie and a her father (called Mo)

Mo has a very special talent that gets them into alot of trouble.  An evil man called Capricorn is willing to do anything to get a hold of Mo and a book called Inkheart.  Dustfinger, a man who is a freind of Mo and of Capricorn does something and suddenly Meggie and Mo are in Capricorn's clutches!!!!

It is a really good book and I recomend it to anyone 10 and up (There are some 'dark' areas).

@ Emily- Did I say CoN was poorly written? I don't think so... though it could've been a lot better. They're pretty good books, though.

@ TNO (umlaut): How true.

I believe my words were something to the tone of "But CSL could've done better. Less family histories and prose, more action? Yes, I think that may have worked."

I thought CoN was perfect the way it was.

Nothing's perfect, you see.

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comes pretty darn close, though. :)

TNO: There's a book you like??!!

Ima: The CoN was very well done!  If you go into it deeper it is Christian based too.

Meadow, they do that to movies from books alot.  They take a really good book and then try to make ti better than the book but usually distroy it!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked Inkheart. Right now I'm in the middle of Inkspell. I have to disagree with TNO and Mary Liz, because I believed the story was well thought out and the characters wonderful.

I thought most of the characters were wonderful. Just not Capricorn. Otherwise, though, it's great in my opinion.

Yes, I had a birthday, on July seventh. *grin*

And no, I can't drive. Well, I have a permit, but I've only got like five hours or so. Driving just... meh... I don't care for it much.
