A book haul...
A book haul is where you read/review a bunch of books at once, and I thought it would be fun to do a CB version!
Basically, you can do them by month, week, or anytime you buy/check out a bunch of books, and you write a super quick spoiler-free review and rate them on a scale of 1-5 stars. Sounds pretty simple, right? It's a great way to find book recommendations, and if you want to, take a picture of all of your books!

September's Wednesday Book Haul!
Okay, so I hope the image shows up, but I went to the library on Wednesday and checked out a bunch of books! Obviously, I haven't finshed them all yet, so I'll do the reviewing in parts:
Part 1:
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
4 stars
Second book in the Dark Artifices series finally came out! I've waited a year for it, and it definitely lived up to my expectations!! I loved the loose ends that were all tied up, and the new ships!!
Gilded Cage by Vic James
1.7 stars
I wanted to like this! I really did! It was really kind of disappointing, I almost didn't finish it— a lot of the book was filler and the plotline dragged on for a long time with no action. It felt a bit stereotypical and I did not enjoy it.

Have you read Challenger Deep yet? I read it around last December, I think. It's great. Confusing at times, but overall I'd give it 4 stars.

Well, I already know you love ToG so I won't rant about that today but.......OHMYGOSH YOU read Carry On!!!!!! I love that book, I've read it like four times......the ship is so OTP I have to suppress happy laughter and yelling out Baz's and Simon's names excitedly whenever they're in any scene together.
Have you read Fangirl? I hope you read Fangirl first.

Bibliophile, did you read all the Wildwoods? Other than Wildwood, there's also Under Wildwood and Wildwood Imperium, and they're all amazing! I also love the illustrations, they're really cool...
