TWILIGHT
OMG! I love...
OMG! I love Twilight!!! I've read the whole series, and hope that Stephenie Meyers writes Midnight Sun. (Twilight in Edward's perspective, for those who don't know) I'm totally obsessed with Twilight, but my sister hates it. i think it's because everyone LOVES Twilight. Like me!!!
Edward is so cool!
Bella's awesome!
I love the part when Be...oops! I almost gave away the best part of Breaking Dawn!!! I'm so stupid...

I respect your opinion. Aw, who am I kidding? They all know where I stand. I HATE TWILIGHT! That is not trolling, btw, this is not a specificly protwilight thread. The characters are one dimensional. The vampires SPARKLE and have no fangs. Bella is whiny. Edward Sparklepants is NOT HOT! He is supposed to be "dangerous" but is a vegetarian and won't hurt Bella. Stop the sparkle! TROS! TROS! TROS!*
*if you understand that, th-n I give you credit for reading anti threads...TROS!

And you write like the stereotypical fangirl: no capitals, no punctuation, text language. A lit snob's nightmare. You'd probably get your point across better if you'd type fluently and right. I will repunctuare:
Oh my gosh! I love Twilight!!! I've read the whole series, and hope that Stephanie Meyer writes Midnight Sun (which is Twilight
in Edward's perspective, for those who don't know). I'm totally obsessed

That does not represent my opinion. For my opinion, see above post. Admin, please post that.

Sorry, and if it makes you feel better, I will write in the "normal" way. I could go on about your spelling mistakes, Reuben, and anyone else, but I won't be annoying like you were. I guess I respect your views on Twilight too, but I still LOVE it, and so do most of my friends at school.
Thanks, Lena, for supporting me, but I still don't get it. WHERE ARE ALL THE TWILIGHT LOVERS?!?
As you can see, I can be very flexible. I can do homemade smileys :) and write with capitals in all the appropriate places, correct grammar, and apostrophes. It's just hard to switch from texting, where my friends and I all write like that, to pleasing all of you with proper grammer. You're welcome!
P.S. Reuben, what is "repunctuare?" (hee hee)
(May 21, 2009 - 10:04 am)
But texting is very different from typing on a keyboard. The layout is entirely different, how is it hard to switch?
*speaking as someone who learned touch-typing when she was six, and punctuates properly out of habit more than anything else*

Well, I write like that when I am typing, too, just to be fast, and my friends don't mind; they do it, too! I'm writing how you want me to, and so we can just stop talking about it!
Anyone else who wants to bug me about my typing, please submit all complaints, suggestions, and snide remarks to your local brick wall. It would love to listen, unlike me. Thank you, and have a nice day.

I personally like Twilight a lot, but I like other books, too. Books that are probabaly much better than Twilight. I try to right with correct grammer and puncuation. I still think that it is kind of extreme saying that Mara has bad grammar, though. Are you saying that everyone who like Twilight is an idiot?
(July 8, 2009 - 9:59 pm)
I was going to be oversensitive and tell you to stop picking on Mara because of her grammar and tell Mara my views on Twilight, but then I thought, What's the point? So I'm not commenting.
Um... this is technically a comment. Okay, when you read this, don't count this as a comment! Pretend I didn't say anything!
H'm... why did I make this post anyway?

No, I agree with Reuben. I mean, firstly, I'm a moderate "lit snob," as he put it, and the spelling, grammar, and excessive smileys just... irk me. Yes. And Twilight in general is just... um... reallyreallyreallyREALLY awful. As in bad morals, bad plot, bad characters, bad dialogue/character interaction, bad consistency, bad... um, I'd have to go with bad everything, truth be told. It's just plain bad writing, IMO and that of many others.
(May 20, 2009 - 7:07 pm)
I totally agree with you, but correcting all her spelling and grammar for her seems kind of, well, extreme. It's annoying to me too. I like proper grammar and proper usage of capitals and prefer homemade smiles like this :) but imagine you had just come on and were ranting about how great Harry Potter is and these are your responses.
Okay, I know. It's only me who would be hurt by that. I'm too sensitive. :(

I think Twilight is a good book..... mostly. I like Twilight but there are lots of better books.....
Yes I use text language and can write properly.
Those of u who defended Mara, GO U
Sincerely,
One of Mara's best friends

I detest it, personally. I despise the flat characters, I despise the dreadful morals (stalking, abuse, Jacob's thing in BD, more abuse, pretty=good/ugly=bad, anti-blonde (but not anti-blond), anti-feminist, anti-human, ageism, classism, racism, etc. etc.).

I have been turned into an anti twilight zombie. I must eat/destroy/burn/explode/{Insert Your Choice Of Destruction Here}/mangle all twilight propaganda
Ffffffeeeeeaaaaaarrrrrrr mmmmmeeeeee!!!!!
(May 20, 2009 - 6:07 pm)
Repunctuare- Verb. To make punctuation correct, as in Good punctuation marks are there.
I, too, am zombie! Twilight=bad. Shred Twilight. Tros! Tros!

I've two words for you: Rabid. Anti.
Chill, dude. The point of BaB is to share opinions, not to quash them if you don't like them. So... inhale. exhale. repeat as necessary. Twilight- I hate it, yes, but I don't go jumping about waving skewered candy at fans like Vlad Tepes on the day after Halloween. I don't go trolling and being rude to fans- a lot of my friends are fans, in fact, I'd have very few friends if I was rude to them.
I rant sometimes, yes. I'm a member of TS, yes. Impaling innocent candy? No. Being unnecessarily rude to people who don't agree with me? No.
Deep breaths now, come on you can do it.
(May 22, 2009 - 8:09 am)
Oh, that's cool! I've never heard of that before!
