Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Ultimate CB Book Log
Have you read...

Have you read a book recently?

Enter its name here. This is the 2017 Ultimate CB Book Log. Well, technically starting in 2016, but who cares?

This is a place for us to keep a huge, giant log of books, both for ourselves, and also so other CBers can see what we're reading. Everytime you finish a book--whether you've read it or not--put its name and author here. You don't have to talk about it or anything...you just type in its title. We can discuss books here if you want, but it's not required.

Have fun!

I think this is a great idea, Owlgirl!

King's Dark Tidings

My favorite series of ALL TIME. It's SO good.

The books are:

Free the Darkness

Reign of Madness

Legends of Ahn

Kingdoms and Chaos

Kingdoms and Chaos hasn't been published yet, but it will be published sometime in 2018.

BTW: It's a fantasy series.

BTW2: Also, it is only on Kindle.

I just finished reading

The Penderwicks at Last

By Jeanne Birdsalle

The Penderwicks at Last is the last book in a series of five books and is set in the same location as the first book. It is when everyone is older and Rosiland and Skye are getting married. But it’s not like they’re less troublesome, they still have to be cautious!

How I came to reading this book is kind of funny. I was looking in the bookstore in my town and came across that book and got SUPER excited, since the book just came out in June. My mom said that we weren’t going to buy any books that day and I could come back some other time. I went home and a few days later... forgot about it. In about a week my mom was sitting on the couch with me sipping coffee and suddenly told me that she had a “first day of summer present!” I looked in her bag and she there was a Penderwicks book. I said “thank you, but I think Ike already read this book!” I wasn’t completely sure, so I started reading it. I knew right away that it was the first book, but I read it anyway. On Father’s Day, my dad and I were driving back from lunch (and ice cream) and I asked to stop at the bookstore to buy my book. My dad gave me money and I bought the book.

A few days later I went to a book club and brought the book to show my friend (also a Penderwicks fan) she claimed she read it in Spain and said when she bought it she thought of me too!

Bye for now

I just finished "Every Day" by  David Leviathan

It was really good!! I was so happy to find out they also made a movie based on the book. Out of 10, (1 being the worst book ever, and 10 being the best book ever) I rate this book a 9. I rate the movie a 6.

I just finished Lord of Shadows, which is the second book of the third series in the Shadowhunter Chronicles, by Cassandra Clare (which you should not read unless you are at least 13 or 14). Of the 12 Shadowhunter books I’ve read, it may have been my favorite. Mark and Kieran. Oh my gosh. I don’t even ship people, or care about shipping that much, but they are currently my favorite ship of all time. None of my friends who have read it are here, and I’m dying for someone to talk to about it. The next book, Queen of Air and Darkness, doesn’t come out until December 4. Help.

Just Juliet by Charlotte Reagan. It's a little 13+, but really sweet and cheerful.

I finished Maximum Ride book 9 (by James Patterson) which is set after the events of the 8th book. I also just started The Mysterious Benedict Society (by Trenton Lee Stewart). I abandoned this book some time ago but I decided to pick it up once again. It takes some time to get started but now I'm invested! Im pretty far into it.
