My name is Natalie, I'm 12 and I can fly. I have seven sisters that all can move things with their minds (telepathy). We live in the woods with my snake, Raia, who cares for us.
(May 8, 2009 - 5:14 pm)
Here's my description: (I changed my mind.)
Name: I haven't decided.
Feather color: Chesnut brown
Beak: Pale yellowy-brown
Eyes: Yellow but turn black when angry
Uh, anything else I forgot?
Oh yeah. Age: 12
Magic user: Does not know much, but what does know, does well. Best at translocate and cold and heat spell. Not breeded by Derk. Wild but on the good side. Not like Jessek.
I like that better. Oh and, I finished reading "Year of the Griffin" yesterday. That's why my location is "The University.". Yay! Wermacht turned himself somehow into a bar stool while trying to prove that it wasn't him who got Claudia stuck to that cloakstand! Orange juice, pits and assasins! ( Just ignore me, Holly) Smelly monsters and air elementals! Corcoran (is that how you spell his name?!), Kit, Blade, Elda, and everybody else meant to go to the moon, but missed the moon and went to Mars instead! (Corcoran screamed when he realized that, then Kit knocked him out. Then they all realized that they were on Mars.) (Holly, just ignore me, okay? I'm talking about "Year of the Griffin.")

Hi, Holly! :):)
(May 4, 2009 - 5:12 pm)
Ok, here's the aforementioned mini-glossary!
Asha'man:
Men trained in the Black Tower to channel that have both the Sword and the Dragon.
Soldier:
(1) man that can channel, but only has the Sword, has not yet gained the Dragon.
(2) an employed mercenary or other member of the fighting class.
Ajahs, The:
The groups into which all Aes Sedai, excepting the Amryllin Seat, are categorized. The Ajahs are Blue, Red, Green, Brown, Yellow, and Gray.
Aiel, The:
The people of the Aiel Waste. Deadly warriors, but fiercly loyal to the Car'a'carn, Rand Al'Thor, who is also the Dragon Reborn.
Aes Sedai:
Female wielders of the One Power.
Accepted, The:
young women in training to be Aes Sedai who have reached a certain level of power and passed certain tests. An Accepted has the right to wear a Great Serpent ring, but only on the third finger of her left hand.

(1) Leader of the Aes Sedai. Elected for life by the Hall of the Tower.
(2) the throne on which the leader of the Aes Sedai sits.
The current Amryllin is Egwene Al'Vere, from the Two Rivers.
I hope this clears things up!
Sariana is an Accepted, hopes to become Green Ajah, and has dark brown hair that she keeps in a neat, long braid in imitation of her idol, Nynaeve Sedai, and has also picked up Nynaeve's habit of tugging on her braid when angry. Green eyes that are often flashing angrily, has her mother's temper and rough language. Her father, Gareth Bryne, is her mother's Warder and the Commander of the Tower Guard. Her mother is Siuan Sanche, previously Amryllin Seat, untill she was deposed and stilled, then Healed by Nynaeve Sedai, also known as Nynaeve Al'Meara.
(May 5, 2009 - 11:13 am)
Okay, I changed my mind. My character will be:
Sheyari Aybara, youngest daughter, at age 14, of Faile and Perrin Aybara
Looks: Brown, shaggy hair, golden/yellow eyes like her father's, wears loosely fitting trousers and blouse most of the time, unless it's an important occasion and Faile makes her wear a dress.
Abilities/traits/habits:
Is a wolf-human like her father, thus the golden eyes, can channel but was not accepted into the White Tower because of her uncommon eyes, which led them to fear that she was a Darkfriend of some sort, but was taught by Nynaeve Sedai, who lives in her hometown, The Two Rivers. Her father is the Lord of The Two Rivers, sometimes called the King of Mantheren. She carries daggers hidden in her shaggy clothing, and knows how to use them; she was taught by Mat Cauthon, one of her "uncles". She also knows how to use the sword on her belt, and is quite adept at that as well, as she was taught by Lan, Nynaeve's Warder. She rarely stays at home; she wanders around the countryside with her wolf pack, and is known to most as the Wolf Princess. Usually travels by gateways.
Oh yeah, wolf-human= has telepathic connection with all wolves, has keen hearing, eyesight, and sense of smell, golden eyes. She inherited it from her father, Perrin. Her wolf-name is Bluebird-in-the-Sky. That's what the wolves call her, that is.
Oh, and I'm not going to use Sariana, so if someone else wants her, please feel free to use her. Or, we can delete her, and not use her at all.
I will now begin the RP.

Sheyari walked through the woods, her wolf pack behind her. Why is it so quiet? And I can't smell even a fly!, she wondered to them. Sky-Water answered her. There is evil nearby. Sheyari stiffened. She could smell it now, and hear it stalking up behind her. She sniffed the air. Myrdraal. I would know that scent anywhere., she thought grimly. Though their master, the Dark One, was dead, they still prowled the lands, killing ruthlessly. She whirled around. Sure enough, the Myrdraal was there, drawing it's sword. She pulled out a dagger and threw, another apppearing in her hand the moment the first one was launched. Now! The wolves threw themselves at it, growling savagely. They had fought against Myrdraal before, and had developed a routine, almost, for killing them. She threw her last dagger and drew her sword. The Myrdraal laughed hoarsely. "Little girl, do you honestly think you can beat me?", it laughed at her. "Yes. Yes, we can defeat you.", she replied, slicing his head off as the wolves leaped on him, tearing out his heart. She smiled grimly. Good job, guys. She sniffed the air. Surprisingly, there were no Trollocs nearby. But there was an odd scent now, that she couldn't place...........she leapt backwards, yelling in surprise as an enormous, birdlike creature emerged out of the woods. It's back part was as that of a huge cat, and it's front was that of an eagle. She waved her sword at it threateningly. It backed off and put out a claw.
((yay! Martia, the birdlike thing is your griffin.))
(May 5, 2009 - 3:26 pm)
Yes, I liked the name Sariana, so I took it. So I'm going to be Sariana.
I'll start now.
*************************************************
I had been traveling for three days. I had flown over a lot of things, including an ocean. I wasn't worn out, though. I was
a long-distance flier, so I could fly a long distance then rest and
eat. I saw some woods nearby, and decided to investigate. I spread my
wings, and launched into the air. I flew close to the woods, when I
noticed that it smelled of wolves. I landed about 10 feet from the
woods, and then dropped down on all fours and went in. I had been
walking for quite a while when I heard blood-chilling howls and growls.
I stopped, startled. When I sensed nothing near enough to attack me, I
decided the wolves must be attacking some thing else, so out of plain
curiousity, I went toward the stench of wolves and the howls. I hadn't
gone far when I started to see what it was. I stayed behing the trees
and watched. There was a dead Myrdraal, and wolves tearing at
it. Nearby, smiling grimly, was a wolf-human holding a bloody sword.
She suddenly stiffened, and sniffed the air. I decided that the game
was up, and I would be better off showing myself. I stepped forward,
and the girl whirled around. She stared at my features and my half
lion-half eagle shape. Obviously she had never seen a griffin like
myself before. She waved her sword threateningly in my face. I backed
out and put out a claw. "Whoa," I said, staring into her golden eyes.
"Stop waving that in my face. I'm not exactly dangerous, unless I
attack you, you know." She looked surprised. I guessed she didn't know
I could talk. She stopped waving her sword, but still held it in her
hand. "Who are you," she demanded, "and what are you doing here." then
added, "And what are you." I said, "Well, I'm not quite sure what I'm
doing here." Seeing her ready to ask what I was again, I said
hurriedly, "And I'm a griffin." She was still not satisfied. "What's
your name." she demanded again. I said, "Well, I can see you're a wolf-human. And as for what's my name, I could ask you same."
She hesitated, then said,"Tell me yours, then I'll tell you mine." I
could see she was dertirmined to know my name, and, besides, she would
probably put up her sword, too. "I'm Sarina," I said. "What's yours!"
She sheathed her sword and said,"I'm Sheyari. What are you doing
here!?" I said,"I really don't know. I'm kinda lost, you see." She
nodded. "Where are you from?" she asked. "Um, I don't think you'd
understand me. I'll just say that I'm from over the ocean." Thankfully
she gave up on that one.

I know this is a weird stopping place, but I'll stop now.

(9Jen, please tell me before you start the thread. Also, I would kinda like it if you didn't change your peson again, k? K. I am:
Melody Tune, 13, Level2 Sorceress (out of 5), of Dometri Tower (?)
Can read minds/Telekconesys and can talk to cats
Has long blonde wavy/curly/staright hair, and bright blue eyes, most of the time. She is slim. Her weird quirk is that she faints when she is suprised. She also has a cat and his family, Benvenuto, Vittoria, Morgan(he he) and Camilia. She loves them, and they love her.))
As she walked down the hall, stroking Camilia (Cami, for short,), she was siftin through the minds of pretty much everyone in the Tower. Old Mr. Wilkens was worrying about taxes again. Poor him. She wish she knew enough magic to help him, make him feel better, at least. She sent a few happy thoughts to him. Then she moved on to the maid, the stable boy, the milkman, her teacher, Mr. Roy ((Tacroy)), the other cats, everyone else, and finally, Cami. Her mind was very intelligent fot 4 months, or phases, Cami interrupted. Camilia would like to thank Melody for calling her intelligent and will do so by purring. Will that be all right for Melody? I guess so, she replied...
(May 5, 2009 - 7:20 pm)
Hmm, Dometri Tower? Would you, by any chance, be a Domani? hehe!
(May 8, 2009 - 6:27 pm)
((sounds cool, all))
I nod, satisfied for the moment. I deliberately wipe my sword on the dead Myrdraal's body, sheathe it, and start picking up and cleaning my throwing daggers. I smile inwardly, smelling her uncertainness. "I guess I'd better take you back to my parents, the Lord and the Lady of Mantheren and The Two Rivers.", I say nonchalantly. Sarina looked doubtful and seemed to shrink in size, but nodded reluctantly. I opened myself to saidar, and weaved Spirit and Air to make a gateway back to The Two Rivers. The wolves and I hop through and wait for Sarina. She steps through cautiously, and I let the gateway dissipate. "This way." I say, jogging towards my father's mansion. "Father! Look what I found in the woods after I got rid of a filthy Myrdraal!", I yell.
(May 6, 2009 - 2:22 pm)
Sheyari nodded, apparently satisfied for the moment. She wiped her sword on the dead Myrdraals body, sheathed it, and gathered all her throwing daggers, and cleaned those too. "I guess I'd better take you back to my parents, the Lord and the Lady of Mantheren and The Two Rivers." She said. Sarina looked doubtful, wondering if they had some food around there. She shrank back to a more normal size, and nodded releculantly. Sheyari did some strange magic, and a gateway opened. She and her wolf friends hopped through the gateway. Sarina cautiously followed, and tried to see how it worked, and realized that it was an entirely different magic, and gave up. She came out of the gateway, and the opening behind her faded away, closing in on one of her tail feathers. She whisked away her tail feathers just as the opening closed completely. Sarina hated loosing feathers. It meant she had to grow more. "This way." Sheyari said, jogging towards a mansion. "Father!" she called out. "Look what I found in the woods after I got rid of a filthy Myrdraal!" Sarina grumped, "You didn't find me, I found you. I followed the scent of wolves, and it led me to you!"

There. Jenni, you can tell us what your father looks like, because I have no idea what goes on in your mind.
(May 8, 2009 - 1:14 pm)
Wow admins, that was fast!! 4 min.!!!! I'm on with admins!!!
(May 8, 2009 - 1:21 pm)
((gah.))
Sheyari's father, Lord Perrin Aybara, a tall, broad-shouldered, brown-haired, yellow-eyed man, also a wolf-human, comes out of the mansion, jumping when he sees the griffin. "What kind of smell is that, and what is that animal doing here? Wait, that's a GRIFFIN! The Age of Legends is come back!", he exclaims. Sheyari groans. "Next thing there'll be centuars like in Travels of Jain Farstrider? Da, you believe too much in those old legends." Sheyari laughs at the thought of centaurs. Sarina obviously did not like being called an animal. "I'm not an animal!!! And, if you want to know, my name is Sarina." ((Martia, don't take over the keyboard, this is MY post!)) Perrin looks thoughtful. "They can speak, eh?", he says interestedly. "WELL DUH!", the griffin screeched, flapping its wings irritatedly. They cower under the blast of noise, doubled by their sensitive ears. "Please, don't be so loud. We can hear you quite well, Sarina, was that what you said your name was?", Perrin says. Sheyari nods, rubbing her ringing ear ruefully. "Yeah, please keep it down. How about you go rest in that field over there? I'm afraid we don't have any inside areas that can accomodate your size. And you can go hunting in the woods over there.", Sheyari says, pointing towards a meadow and woods by the edge of the city. It-she-Sarina takes off and heads for the indicated area. She sighs, relieved, and turn towards Perrin. "There's a gleeman at the inn?", she says hopefully. Perrin laughs and nods. "You can go hang out with your friends. I'm sure that no one has mentioned that this is where you live, so he's sure to sing "The Wolf Girl" tonight.", he says. Sheyari grins as well. "And I can get out my flute and accompany him, of course?", she giggles. Perrin just chortles and goes back inside. Sheyari waves off her wolves to the forest and heads for the inn. I wonder if the gleeman will react like the others did?, she wonders idly, and shrugs. Time would tell.
((hehehe))
(May 8, 2009 - 6:52 pm)
((No, I didn't mean that, cuz I don't know what ur talking about.))
Melody held Camilia for a while, as she was telling Melody about her day. Melody was so into listening she hadn't realized the otyhers (Benvenuto, Vittoria, and Morgan) were following her and they had walked into the woods. When she realized they were there, she set Camilia down. "There. Now go on," but Camilia never finished the story. They all saw a griifin and a wolf-girl going through a portal. Camilia ran after them. "No!!" she said, and they all dived in, just in time. They were somewhere, she couldn't tell where. She conjered up a bag big enough for all the cats, and everything she owned. It was a ten ton bag. She said, "Here guys, I'll give you yor favorite room. It also made mini rooms for live things. She had added that. They jump in, and the smap closed shut, and she saw them looking at the rooms. 'Don't let go of the speech thread. I may need all of you.' As she read the minds of everyone, she found a way to sneak behind the griffin and the wolf girl. A whikle later, they were talking to a man, probably her father. (the wolf's), while Camilia finished her story. Suddenly, the man noticed her. "Hey what are you doing here?" He walked towrad her. She broke into a run....
