CURSED CHILD RELEASE PARTAY!
Last night, I...
Last night, I went to a midnight book release of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script at my favorite bookstore! It was great! I saw lots of people that I knew, including an old friend, did some trivia, took part in the costume contest (I was The Unrepresented Ravenpuff) and was 38th in line to get the script! To be fair, 3 other people were 38th because there were four stations, but I was still happy not to be seventieth)
I read the first quarter of the script last night, and finished it this morning. It was so climactic! I loved the storyline. It was a very unusual kind of plot for JK Rowling, I think, but it was still incredible!
Did anyone else go to a party/get a book/wanna fangirl?!

I did not expect (insert name of villian here) from the beginning. In fact, I was quite surprised. However, the plot did not seem to be...necessary somehow. Albus and Scorpious weren't dealing with problems like Harry did, they were rushing up to meet them and causing them. I mean, it would be a lot different and more emotional if they actually had a connection with Cedric, but it's sort of like, hey, let's go save this guy whom we have absolutely no attatchment to except in our parents' past! Oh goodness, it would be soooo different if it was someone like Cho who actually knew and loved Cedric.

I haven't finished it but I'm really annoyed with how they keep skipping ahead with out developing the characters.

Firstly, I won first prize at my book store's costume contest as Bellatrix! (I won a Time Turner, and am starting a Harry Potter shrine with it and various other Harry Potter related things. Help)

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Spoilers up ahead.
Are you sure?
Ok.
So, although I liked the storyline as a whole, there are some plotholes I'd like to disscuss.
The thing that stuck out most to me was the fact that Voldemort could ever have a child before he went from Tom Riddle to Voldemort. So, yes, I get that Bellatrix was to him like a dog a bit, but why would Voldemort take the time to have a kid? It's all very un-Voldemort like. And then, when Albus and Scorpius are stuck in time, how would they then be able to pull themselves out of time into Godric's Hollow when stated clearly that the Time Turner can go through time but not space? Shouldn't they hae ended up in the same place that they had started in?
Anyway, I don't want to say that the book is bad, because it is still really good. (Also, is there anyone else who doesn't ship Scorose? ((I ship Scorbus, please no judge)))
