I just read the series for the second time. There is no ship named Keeta. There is a boy named Peeta.

I was SO mad when they didn't put Madge in the movie!!!!
(May 19, 2016 - 12:57 pm)
Keeta is the Katniss and Peeta ship name! Also, yes I agree, HOW COULD THEY LEAVE OUT MADGE???? But otherwise I thought it was very accurate and well done.

Warning: Contains spoilers, and is VERY long.
I, emotionally, cannot read Mockingjay.
I read the whole thing once, had a good cry, and put Mockingjay where I never would be able to find it again. Ok, that's strange, isn't it? For some odd reason?
I read Harry P. and the Deathly Hallows, and still read it, although it's very sad.
But Mockingjay? For some odd reason, I can't bring myself to read it. The emotional stress Katniss was put through, the pain of losing..... *SPOILER ALERT* written backwards: mirp..... And for some reason, I cried when kcinnif died. Why do we get so attached to kcinnif? He's not even in the first book, nor is he that main of a charecter!
Maybe it's because he was mistreated-no, abused-by the Capitol, and that injustice was never set right. Maybe it was because of Annie Cresta, and his child.... Maybe it was because of his charecter. I don't know.
But I feel waves of shock, waves of sadness through my body. Look at what the Capitol has done. Changed children into killers. Made the Mockingjays in district 11 cease to sing. And Rue...
We all knew that Rue would never make it out.....
And there were the Rebels that has risen up from the Capitol, sitting around a table, planning. Wanting to make Capitol Children do the Hunger Games. Wanting to kill, in revenge.
Haven't enough people died?
No. To the Rebels, there is no 'not enough people dying'. To them, it is an eye for an eye, a toe for a toe, ect. Except that the Capitol must lose its entire face. And it's entire foot. And I keep on going back and forth, thinking: "Does the Capitol deserve this? Yes. Does the Capitol deserve this? No." But then I remember the old man who sang the Mockingjay's song.
And he died for it.
It's heartbreaking to read and my small, 11-year old self cannot understand why Katniss shot the Rebel President, and indeed I cannot understand fully the emotional stress and insanity that Katniss is going through.... It is difficult, yes, but when I understand-no, when my parents allow me to understand,-I will cry all over again.
But Prim....
"Sweet, tiny Prim, who cried when I cried"
And we see a battle. A hunger games, if you must. A Hunger Games with two teams. And enough blood to fill an aqueduct, a water tower, and a pool is shed. And you see life against humanity and so much more.
When you're shoved into a Hunger Games, part of you wants to quit. But there's even more pain if you just don't try. Emotional pain.
And Katniss volunteered willingly, not knowing that her spark would set Panem on fire, and set the whole nation ablaze. And, in a way, it was partly Prim's tiny spark that did it.
And that's my entire, crazy, rant-speech-book-thing! Quick question: does anyone know what states/region the districts & the Capitol is in?
Thanks!

If you look up Hunger Games Districts there will probably be a map. I looked it up and I live in district 6 (I guess!)
(May 21, 2016 - 8:36 am)
I don't really want to look it up because I can't stand seeing bloody images-and well, that might pop up. I didn't watch the movies for a reason :P
(May 23, 2016 - 10:37 am)
The Capital is in lower Califrnia and a bit of Nevada.

Drag the pic into a new tab, then you can see the whole pic.
Where Ilive is underwater, so I'd probably end up in district 12. (Because I live on the coast)

I just read the series for the second time. I love it! I really miss Rue. And Prim. And Finnick. And I miss the other people who died too.
During the whole series, I thought that Katniss should choose Peeta. He is just a generally better person.
SPOILER: DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE WHOLE SERIES, INCLUDING THE EPILOGUE!
She chooses Peeta!
THE SPOILER IS OVER!
So, yeah. It's a great series. I suggest thhat you read it, if you haven't read it.
