Really? Wow, I'm glad she didn't do that. I was already brokenhearted about Tonks and Lupin and Sirius and the other dead ones. Plus, to have practically everybody Harry loved die would just ruin the ending!

So sad about Lupin and Sirius...

Did you know that Merlin was a Slytherin? I got this from Pottermore.com.

1. Fred and George were born on April Fools's Day.
2. Fred and George Weasley technically once threw a snowball at Voldemort's face!!
Because in the first book: "...the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrel around, bouncing off the back of his turban..."
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
3. Rowling killed off Hedwig because she said it represented the loss of innocence and security, and Hedwig's fate marked the end of Harry’s childhood.

The kids (Daniel, Emma, and Rupert) were asked what they would do with their frist paycheck in an interview. True to their characters, Emma would put hers in the bank until she was 21, Daniel "honestly didn't know," and Rupert told reporters, speaking as a wizard, they were paying him muggle money so he didn't know what he was going to do with it. :)

Um, I dunno if this is a good fact or not, but J.K. Rowling literally planned everything, down to the names.
Sirius is the name of the dog constellation.
Remus Lupin can be rearranged to spell Primus Lune, which, in Latin, is full moon.
Mal Foi, in French, I believe, means 'bad faith'.
The weasel was J.K. Rowling's favorite animal.

The funny thing is, lupine means related to wolves, and Remus is a Roman myth character raised by a wolf, or something along those lines.

Actually, I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Remus was one of the founders of Rome, along with his twin brother Romulus.
