I vote for The Hobbit. Smaug the dragon is cute! Bilbo is awesome!

(I'm going to take idea from S.E.)
St.Owl: (walks onto stage. One bright light shines on her face. Holds up The House of Hades and says in a perky voice) Read Heroes of Olympus! It's the essential next step after reading PJO. The plot is amazing and so many new charries are introduced. It's absolutely brilliant!
(light gets dimmer) On the other hand, well... LOTR and Hobbit? No offense, but to me they're quite boring. I couldn't finish Hobbit because, well, Tolkien writes in a style that just isn't for me.
(light gets the brightest possible) ARE YOU WITH ME!?
Crowd: ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!
St.Owl: HOO IS THE BEST!
Crowd: ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!
St.Owl: HEROES OF OOOOLLLLYYYYMMMMPPPUUUUSSSS!!!!
Crowd: (cheers)
(St.Owl takes bow, throws random HoO books into the crowd [which are caught highly enthusiastically] and walks off the stage proudly, roses showering the area where she had stood.)
END SHOW.

*dies*
Have you READ The Hobbit? Okay, LOTR is a bit boring. But The Hobbit? No indeed. And also, to all who want to read The Heroes of Olympus ... Please, don't read it. It is way too overkill on the plot.
I mean, what's with all the dying? I mean... I may not really know what I'm talking about , but... you don't put drama in by making all my fav characters die. Seriously.

Hobbit rocks! I'd go with The Hobbit.

@Willy Wonka are you new to CB? If so, welcome. My name is Horse Spirit Girl. Did you chose your name because you like the book or movie? I just have to say that Johnny Depp is an amazing Willy Wonka in the newer movie, but the actress who plays Veruca Salt is amazing in the older film. Okay, I will stop going on and on;)

HOBBIT!
(March 23, 2015 - 8:30 pm)
OKAY, SO far...
(Not counting MP)
Hobbit/LOTR: 7 votes. Come on, that should be higher!
HoO: 2 votes. That's more than it deserves.

DUUUUUHHHH!! LOTR orever! how's there even a question there?
PS: What is HoO?
I think it stands for House of Hades, one of the books in the second Percy Jackson series.

HoO stands for Heroes of Olympus (which I found out like two days ago :D )
(March 27, 2015 - 6:41 pm)
If you don't want an overwhelming book then choose HoO.
If you can handle an overwhelming book, you should read LOTR.
The Hobbit is easier like the HoO series, keep in mind.

Sorry HoO, but LOTR FOR THE WIN.
*grabs bow and runs into forest shooting orcs*
Tolkien is the father of modern fantasy, almost every fantasy video game, movie, and book owes it to him and CS Lewis.
