Harry Potter Trivia
Open to all...

Open to all Potterheads!!!!

Here are the rules:
-You have to have read all the books.

-DO NOT comment until you can see the latest comment. We don't want to get mixed up.

-No questions that aren't in the series; e.x: what's Hermione's favorite food?

-NO CONSULTING THE BOOKS. IT'S CHEATING.

I think the rest is self-explanitory; you answer the trivia question, then post one of you own.

Was it Bathilda Bagshot? The moment in her house is one of the most disgusting in Harry Potter.

No, there was more than one nonSlytherin wizard that went bad. Quirell, a Ravenclaw, was one of them.

I had no clue!

What I had meant was (warning, Harry Potter speech incoming. I know this is trivia, but this explains why I thought it was Peter. I didn't know about Quirrel in Ravenclaw):

PETER. PETTIGREW. I could rant all day about what the little rat did to his friends and ended up making Lupin LOSE HIS JOB..... Ugh. It technically was Peter's and not Snape's fault. Anyways....

Ron is great in his own ways (Wizard's chessss!!!!!) and had a keen ability to imitate Harry's parsletounge to enter the chamber of secrets to collect a basilisk fang to kill the horcruxes. Ugh. But, I quote, "There's not a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin." Which brings me to my next point.....

I think Quirell started out normal, which was why he started out in RavenClaw (my house!!), but then got turned to Voldemort & the Death Eaters (some charecters in there that I love to hate, but thats not what I'm talking about now) later, after he was at Hogwarts. Explains why he wasn't in Slytherin.

And Peter was in Griffindor. Gryffindor, Grifindor, Gryfindor, ughh I never can spell it. But anyways... Peter was in Gryfindor/Grifindor. So, apply the same reasoning that I just applied to Quirrel, and you get a point. We see from glancing into the life of the Maurders (James, Sirius, Remus, & Peter) That Peter liked to stick around the most powerful, talented witches & wizards. So Voldemort came into power, and he was the biggest bully in the playground. So Peter gravitated to him.

And, that explains the Witches & Wizards who went bad who weren't in Slytherin. Umbridge actually was in RavenClaw, but she's not dark, or a DeathEater, so it doesnt really count.

Actually, Umbridge was in Slytherin. I saw it in an article on Mugglenet. She was really ashamed of her squib brother (I HATE Umbridge.) I actually do think that Umbidge is dark, since she did a bunch of horrible things such as using illegal blood quills on children, making horrible laws against werewolves (making it almost impossible for a werewolf to get a job), and she got sent to Azkaban for her crimes against muggleborns. Also, there was an article on Pottermore about Quirrel. He was actually a good guy until a trip to defeat a vampire where he found Voldemort and was persuaded to join him because he was afraid or something. He is easily persuaded. Hufflepuff is the house with the least number of dark wizards and witches, even less than Gryffindor (yes, I know how to spell it).

Oh, um well...

J.K Rowling herself has confirmed that Umbridge is in Slytherin. Mugglenet is not by J.K Rowling... but pottermore is! Go to www.pottermore.com to see her cool stuff :P

Well, agreed, Umbridge did some pretty horrible things.. but she's not dark as in she's not a death eater.
