Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Book Recomendations
We're all big...

We're all big readers here, so I thought it would be a fun idea to recommend some great books we have read to our friends on the CB! All you have to do is write what genre it is and a sentence about the plot, and why you like the book. IMPORTANT: DO NOT SPOIL THE PLOT! It's no fun if you do that. So, yeah, that's my idea.

Mandy says rmba, get ready to rumba!

"The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making" and the two after it. Fantasy, it's a fun fantasy book that I would have liked more when I was younger.

"The Incorridgeble Children of Ashton Place" Fantasy placed in old Britain, another good book, there are 4 of them now.

"His Dark Materials" Fantasy, The collection of The Golden Compass and the two other books in the series. Really, really good.

The Amber Spyglass and The Subtle Knife are the other two.

I ditto you on those, Watermelon! They're really awesome books.

Alright, I think everyone's already said Harry Potter, so I wouldn't suggest it again:) The Maze Runner series is a very awesome series, just don't read it before bed as it has a tendency to bring nightmares;) I also love the Grisha books, by Leigh Bardugo. They're about...actually, they're rather like a much more advanced, mystical Harry Potter. Or a cross between LOTR and Harry Potter. Either way they're awesome, and I highly recommend them.

As for more girlish books, I am a HUGE fan of The MOther-Daughter Book Club series. Its about a bunch of girls who aren't that fond of each other, but their mothers start a book club with them. It's a story of friendship, books and yes, romance, as the series follows them into high school and beyond.
