Sign-ups end August 1. We would read a lot of books, but the first one would be The Tale of Desperaux. Please, sign up, and if you do, check in every weekend, because that is the only time I can do computer.

I don't mind you jumping in, Bookbug, but I don't think we even need a leader or co-leader. Just whoever wants to pick a book for us to read can go ahead. And I think too many of us have read The Tale of Desperaux, so why don't we read The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCamillo? And one more thing: I'm not on here a lot, my parents have computer time guidelines, so don't expect to hear from me every day or something.

I've read Lord of the Rings with my dad, and if other people here are my age, it might be hard to understand. My dad had to explain it all to me.
But I've never heard of the other book. I'll look it up.
