Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Book Quote Game!
We haven't had...
We haven't had one of these for a long time, so I'm making one. If you don't know the rules here they are:
I'll post a quote, people try and guess what book it's from, and the first person to guess correctly wins. The winner posts the next quote and it starts all over again.
This quote might be pretty hard, so if you need help I'll give some hints.
"Everything moved rapidly after the tea was drunk."

Yes! Ivy guessed it! It's from Victoria Forester's The Girl Who Could Fly.
(January 19, 2014 - 8:09 pm)
Is somebody else going to add one, or can I submit a quote?

@ kikikat:
I think it's Ivy's turn again, since she guess BHR's quote right.
(January 20, 2014 - 3:34 pm)
Yay! I got it right! I'll post the new quote as soon as I can!
(January 20, 2014 - 9:52 pm)
Ok, sorry it took so long!
"If you have to ask, you'll never know. If you know, you need only ask."
(January 21, 2014 - 3:31 pm)
Oh I know this one, but I won't say. I'll let someone else guess.
(January 21, 2014 - 6:17 pm)
I know, it's a really easy one. I just wanted to post one so the game could keep moving.
(January 22, 2014 - 12:13 am)
I guess Anne of Green Gables?
(January 22, 2014 - 12:11 pm)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. That's an awesome quote!
(January 22, 2014 - 5:07 pm)
Yes! Your turn!
(January 22, 2014 - 6:27 pm)
Top! How did this get so far down?
(January 23, 2014 - 10:58 am)
"You have curious notions about heroes. I have never known a man's courage to be judged by the length of his hair. Or, for the matter of that, whether he has any hair at all."
Hope this isn't too hard.

Is it Don Juan, by Lord Byron? I love that book!
(January 29, 2014 - 10:30 am)
Heroes of Olympus? Harry Potter?
(January 27, 2014 - 6:51 pm)
Neither. It's older than that.
