My favorite books in the series were book 1, book 2, and book 4. But I liked them all. I have heard of Pottermore but never went on it before. And the only way I can see how anyone would just grow out of Harry Potter is if they read it a hundred times. And J.K. Rowling is my favorite author and the Harry Potter series is a complete fantasy book. But I guess everything does happen to Harry and not really to anyone else (minus injuries and loss of family members) but I guess with Harry as the main character I cannot complain.

My favorite is The Goblet of Fire. In this book J.K. Rowling sort of outgrows her old writing style that is kind of for a younger age group. Harry, though, is still not very serious and moody yet (good!) even though through the book he is in the most danger yet and it is the closest one to a mystery.
