Harry Potter
Has anyone read...
Has anyone read the Harry Potter series? If so what is your most favorite book in it and your favorite part in that book. If you have not read any of the Harry Potter books I say go read them!
Admin: Prisoner of Azkaban. I love how Harry's loyalty to Hogwarts and the wizarding community is in conflict with his loyalty to family, his uncle Sirius.

Love love love the series! I kept around my editions of them for...well...a year, then I had to give them away because they took up too much room on my bookshelf (long story). I don't think I have one favorite book; they're all so good! My favorite movies, however, are Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows, part 2.

I LOVE Harry Potter! My favorite book is The Deathly Hallows, but I love every one of them.
@Maggie: How can you grow out of Harry Potter?! My dad loves them...

Quite easily, Ivy. I know I'm not Maggie, but I get what she means. I am simply sick of the Harry Potter books. J.K. Rowling isn't my favorite author, and the books aren't that believable, really (I know, I know, it's fantasy and not meant to be believable, but the fact that everything happens to Harry and nobody else? C'mon, guys, really?), and lastly, I just read and reread those books four years ago when I was ten and I'm tired of them, to be honest.
(Sorry, HP lovers)

I see what you mean.

My favorite books are either Prizoner of Azkaban or Goblet of Fire, maybe because the main plot isn't directly associated with Voldemort? My friend Philostrate and I were discussing Harry Potter a couple days ago. We were mainly talking about the saddest deaths and the fanfiction we're cowriting.

Yeah... Harry Potter blow-out conversations wore out a while ago.. my favorite book is The Goblet of Fire. I like all the excitement of it!
I'm reading it in Arabic now.. it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

I haven't read them since third grade.... but my favorite book was definitly the fourth! It might've been partly because my parents said I couldn't read it until the middle of the school year, and I remember sitting at my desk in third grade and opening the cover to the fourth.... I also really like the tri wizard tournament except for the mermaid part.

My favorite book is by far the first one! I love when Harry finds out that he's a wizard!

I am surprised so many people read Harry Potter. I thought everyone reads the hunger games and things like that.

If J.K. Rowling's a billionaire, I'm pretty sure her books are popular.

I can't decide my absolute favorite book. The first one for me was the most fun to read, but I also really liked The Goblet of Fire. Like Admin, I really liked The Prisoner of Azkaban. I didn't like the movie so much at first, since I grew up watching the movies before reading the books, but then I read the book, and liked it so much better. I can't decide between those three. My least favorite though was book five, it just didn't have the same flavor as the others.
