What are you

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

What is everybody reading these days?
What are you...

What are you reading?  What book did you just finish?

Not big on The Sword in the Stone, so it's kind of mildly hibernating, Hamlet is all but in a coma, TSWGO is finished and was gorgeous.

Started rereading The Door in the Wall, but stopped halfway.  Reread Homer Price because I was bored, went to library and am currently rereading Going Bovine because when I am sick that is how my brain functions.

I just finished Fangirl. It was basically too perfect for words and Cath was scarily similar to me. I'm going to get the Leviathan trilogy when I go to Barnes & Noble in a few hours.

LEVIATHAN IS ALSO AMAZING.  I must say, you have excellent taste in books.

Finished Going Bovine, read all of Girls in Pants and The Penultimate Peril and started The End.

Spamster in his spamster cage says phdc.  Phd in c-ychology.  That was a stretch to say the least.  Phd in cannibalism.  We all know that is what you dream for, Spamster.  Cannibalistic spamster.

Thank you. Also thank you for reminding me to reread A Series of Unfortunate Events.

I found TSWGO in a flipping Paper Store today so you should be able to get it pretty much anywhere.

My package with Fangirl in it came today.  I got two copies of Crown of Midnight and my mom finally remembered to get Fangirl sent back in exchange for one copy.  I love when book packages get delivered.  You just walk outside and BAM! new book.

TSWGO ads have been everywhere recently.  Yay!

Finished The End, reread Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, read all of Grounded and am rereading Looking for Alaska, just biding my time until tomorrow, when the school library will be open and I can read the sixth Bloody Jack book.  And become obsessed all over again.  Except for the fact that I have no idea where I'm going to find the seventh (Gollum, dear, interlibrary loan) but that would take so looooooong...

Three whole days.

I finished my reread, but I'm not done with Darkest Minds.  Still taking a break from it because I have a test on Feed by M.T. Anderson next Tuesday & still needed to read it.  That's what I'm reading now.  I don't like it.

finished rereading Looking for Alaska yesterday, started rereading (I'm doing a lot of that recently...) Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! because snow day= no access to the only copy I know of the sixth Bloody Jack book.

Started My Bonny Light Horseman because the weather can't hold out forever.

You had a snow day?  We have a vacation right now.  Is February vacation just a MA thing?

I finished Feed.  The end was sad but the whole book just weirded me out.  Back to reading The Darkest Minds.

Midwinter break is a thing in some private schools in the area, and my cousins have it in their district which is a bit southeasterly.  We don't have it at my school.  Darn it.

I just looked up S.E.'s school district and they're on vacation right now, so it is a thing in other parts of Massachusetts.

I just finished I AM A TAXI. I'm about to start THE ABSOLUTLY TRUE DIARY OF A PART TIME INDIAN. I want to read THE ADVENTUROUS ADVENTURES OF FANBOY AND GOTH GIRL.

I looked that book up and I am now determined to read it because there is a girl named Kyra in it with the exact kind of personality I wish I had.
