Ooh! Is this your first time reading Anne of Green Gables? What do you think of it? FYI, a lot of people don't know that Anne is an entire series, consisting of Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplar, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley, & Rilla of Ingleside. I've read all of them, & starting with Anne of Ingleside, it includes escapes with her children, then Rainbow Valley & Rilla of Ingleside are both mostly about her kids. The last is kinda sad, but it's a very lively, comical series, including pig rides, chasing each other through town with a codfish, playing dead, discovering an orphan, and eating a substance known as ditto. (No, not ALL of this is done by the Anne's children). Definitely recommend!
