Book Covers
What are your...

What are your favorite book covers? If it's an ancient copy of the book, say what edition it is. The one that prompted me to post this was the cover of The Son of Neptune. Cool or what? The ice...the bird...the guy (I'm guessing that's Percy, although I haven't read the book yet.) Call me weird but I think it's cool. I know I have more favorites, but I've got to look in my library before I can say...

I gave my friend Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief for her birthday (in German) and the cover didn't have Percy riding a Minotaur. If you look up: Percy Jackson Diebe im Olymp Buch on Google Images, you'll see the real cover that's on all of the books.

Since you're German, I should probably listen to you. Everybody listen to her :D

But this is what we saw:

Is that even German? I'm not sure...

I don't speak German, but I can recognize it when I see it.  Yep, that's Deutsche.

The Chemical Garden trilogy has awesome covers except for the third one. ;) I also like the UK cover of Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff.

@Zach L. - Oh, I'm not German but I live here. :D Well the words: Diebe im Olymp are German and basically mean Thieves in Olympus. That could've been the original cover but I've never seen it. They might've switched the cover though... :D Anyway it looks different now. :D Did you find the cover I'm talking abotu on the web?

Yes, I did see it, and for the record, I like it better than the other one. (Unless I'm going for laughs.)

Same here.  The other one just doesn't look too Percy Jackson-esque.  I think it's the blue sky.

What's the title of THG in German?  If it's Die Tribute von Panem, then it's different frm ours.
