Writing a Book!!!
Hi Ya'll! I'm...

Hi Ya'll! I'm writing a book! Okay, really I'm writing 2 books.( I know, take it 1 at a time, but I had 2 really great ideas for books.) The first one's called The Spells the Fairy Placed. It's about 2 different girls who had spells placed on them. The 2 spells- no one will like her and everyone will like her. The catch- the girl (Marilla) who had the Everyone will like her is really mean. The other girl (Violet) is super nice. They must together (with lots of difficulties) go on a quest to reverse the spell. I still havn't decided if the setting should be in a magical land, where everyone knows about fairies, or in regular land , where no one really knows about fairies. What do you think?

The second book is called When Ribbons Are Outlawed. It's about a kingdom where ribbons are outlawed.

@ Tiffany W.

I'm writing about Elements, too!  But mine is with four elements.  There have not been many books based on the four Elements, it seems.  What's your book called?  I looked my unpublished book title on Barnes and Noble, and there's already two with the same title.  Surprised  So don't name your book Elemental Magic, because there will already be three books of the same name.

@ Homes (again):

I actually hadn't read any Percy Jackson when I thought it up, although now I am a big fan. So I couldn't say whether it parallels.

Question- how long is this novel?  I've always wondered about length.  My only book-length fanfiction has reached sixty or seventy handwritten pages, and I'm barely halfway through.   But this is a very interesting idea for a book.

Are we talking about our own books here? Ever since I finished Legend of the Red Cloak (yes, you heard correctly: FINISHED) I've been working on the first book of a High Fantasy project called the Otherworld Chronicles. Book one is called Dream of the Dove. I remember I posted a teeny little bit of it on the Inkwell a while back. It's already at least half as long as the finished version of the Red Cloak and nowhere even remotely near complete (as far as the series goes. The first book may actually be halfway through.) I've already put what I have up on Wattpad. :D

Here's the (rough) teaser.

When Alexander and Rebecca find themselves
in a strange new world they never (really) thought was possible, they
embark on a quest to find the elusive Fountain of Youth, a mysterious
spring which can cure any disease, including old age. Unbeknownst to Alexander, he has been diagnosed with a fatal illness and has only a
year to live, and the one person who knows is too scared of his
reaction to tell him. But the time stops for no one. Will they find
the Fountain before it is too late for him?

I'm writing multiple books. And have other stories in my head. And then I randomnly insert characters into other series.

Anyway. Last year's Nano, which is still unfinished. Someday I'll finish it. I rather like it. The Guardian Angiks of Demok high. Three races inhabit the earth, demoks, humans, and angiks. The angiks have wings, the demoks have this bone claw thing, and the humans are humans. It's mostly about Cartmer vika'Drom, heir to the Demokian throne. There's this kidnapping of an angik, Kyrian etsa'Amiran, by a religious group that still worships the demokian gods, and they're going to sacrifice him. Because of public relations and politics and a whole lot of other stuff, Cartmer has to get him out before he's dead. Also, the gods are real, which Cartmer knows due to a near-death incident. In the mean time, she has to deal with her upcoming coronation when she turns eighteen, an assassin sent by one of the members of the Angikian Council, her estranged best friend Z and Z's blind twin, and her temperamental cousin who may or may not want the throne.

The Speed of a Shadow

Future, the Police have taken over the world, and have had it for the past 150 years. A girl named Myla Saurini lives in City 6G, formerly known as Chicago. She knows that she's forgotten something, and that she made herself forget it. But when she makes a careless mistake and the Police are tracking her down, she knows she has to remember or she'll be captured or killed. She remembers, and she's a Hunter. The story centers around her, her sister Lydia Saurini, a member of the Shadows, a gang of spies, Jesse Anderson (#783) a Police, Troy Anith, a Hunter who is really a spy, and a whole bunch of other people. Shade Chase, too, a girl from halfway across the continent, and she wants to join the Hunters. And then other people arrive, from different worlds (Traya Arkin- flying, fire shooting girl). A war is approaching.

Been writing this for two and a half years.

One Changeling War

It's a bit of an emobidement, with Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. They each have five Lieutenants (Winter has Cold, Frost, Snow... etc.). There's a crown that they hand over to the next Changeling every three months. Winter's turn has ended, and he gives it to Spring. Spring has already laid a trap for Summer, whom she captures along with three of his Lieutenants. The other two were killed in the ambush. She takes over the House of Summer. Later, (what I haven't written yet) she destroys the House of Winter, and finally, her sister Autumn stops her. The story is written third person, but from all sorts of people. Oh, and Summer turns himself into a four hundred foot willow tree with an enormous arrow sticking out of the middle, pointing straight at the House of Spring.
