Writing a Book!!!
Hi Ya'll! I'm...

Hi Ya'll! I'm writing a book! Okay, really I'm writing 2 books.( I know, take it 1 at a time, but I had 2 really great ideas for books.) The first one's called The Spells the Fairy Placed. It's about 2 different girls who had spells placed on them. The 2 spells- no one will like her and everyone will like her. The catch- the girl (Marilla) who had the Everyone will like her is really mean. The other girl (Violet) is super nice. They must together (with lots of difficulties) go on a quest to reverse the spell. I still havn't decided if the setting should be in a magical land, where everyone knows about fairies, or in regular land , where no one really knows about fairies. What do you think?

The second book is called When Ribbons Are Outlawed. It's about a kingdom where ribbons are outlawed.

I would probably put it in a nonmagic world, but both sound good.:D

I have 3 different story ideas!

Probably nonmagic--otherwise it would be too easy to reverse the spells.

I've got ideas for about, like, nine other books, three trilogies to make up "A Trilogy of Trilogies."

I agree on the nonmagic.

A trilogy of trilogies.  Hmm.  Would the books all be connected or just three random trilogies that you call a trilogy of trilogies.

I am writing a book, too!  If any of you commentors live in the Hudson Valley, you should try and find GoodLife magazine.  It is a magazine for kids to write.  If you want to write for it, go ahead!  You get money for stories.  Check it out!

@ Holmes S.:

They'd all take place in the same country and there a few recurring characters. Otherwise, there are three separate plots.

@PiperC, is this idea somewhat inspired by Rick Riordan continuing the Percy Jackson series in another, but with a different plot?

@Claire: I think the real world would make it more exciting, because there's all the problems of no one knowing about fairies, which I think would make the story more interesting.

Also @Claire: REALLY?! you're only writing 2?! That is extremely organized of you. XD I can't limit myself like that, which usually means that I start a story and NEVER EVER finish it. Good for you, keeping it simple! :) I really don't know how many books and/or stories I'm trying to write at the moment. XD But (sorry, Claire, not trying to steal your thread or anything, promise!) I would really like feedback on this one idea that I have re-brainstormed multiple times. :)

So it's in a part modern world/part medieval times/part fantasy world mash-up (I know, confusing) and the main charrie is this teenage girl (16) who used to be an assassin/spy etc, but she was caught and was going to be killed, but her country's law states that you can't execute an underage girl, so she's taken to live with a bunch of Priestesses (her world's version of nuns).  After a few years no one remembers who she is anymore. One day a bunch of soldiers come to take her to work at the palace, and I can never get past this point even though I really really want to. I have a few ideas annd ways to continue off this point, but I always hit a dead end. It's one of those stories that I write then hide away and forget about, then find months later and rewrite. This has happened at least twice. Maybe three times. Please help. :P

Make her the person who looks through all the records of people whom they are trying to excecute and then she finds herself and she commits suicide.  Maybe not the part about the suicide...but she should feel really guilty.  What is your definition of underage?

Maybe the soldiers are looking at the records, and they find her, and she's not underage anymore, so they try to take her away?

The reason no one remembers who she is anymore is they had a spell put over them/ were drugged, depending on how they use magic, so even she doesn't remember why she's getting taken away.

How could she be a murderer/assasin if she was underage, what ever that means.  Was she one of those cases who grow up to be psycopaths?

I'm writing a book too. It's about this group of children who go to a group camp called Land Between the Lakes. Six of them: Tiffany, Sylvia, Syrra, Ash, Sirius, and Kyle are placed onto the same team for an activity. As they are in the woods, they leave their chaperone for a moment, and then the chaperone is gone. They find a portal to an odd garden, inside which there are six rings. Each of the rings seems to be perfect for a specific person. They keep the rings, and discover that they have magical powers and that Mr. Viri is trying to steal them all. Then... well... yeah.

No she was trained by her father who was also a spy/assassin when she was really little, and in my story underage means the same as it does in the U.S. in real life, 18.

I also recently started to write a second book. So, I've brought out the old eight-elements idea that I've used about three times already. So, there are these types of people that can control fire, ice, water, lightning, earth, or darkness. Yes, there are seven this time, because air hadn't been discovered yet.

So these people are called the Extranei and they live in villages spread out throughout the world. One day, two people with the power to recieve prophecies go to sleep in the villages N'vel and ________. They recieve a prophecy that involves a magic-induced solar eclipse that lasts nine days and two people reffered to as frost and flame that have the power to save the Extranei.

What are the Extranei going to be saved from? The spirits of the ______, called _______, who believe that they alone should have power over the elements. 'Frost' and 'Flame' must travel to ______ to negotiate with them or.... something.

And then it involves Frost, a girl named Henah (and she IS the chosen one, no doubt about that) and a girl named Elvira, from whose point of view the story is told. Well, half of the story. The other part is from Kunichi's point of view, who is a girl who doesn't believe in prophecies at all. And, obviously, she's flame.
