A Very Special Night

The sky is dark
The lights are off
I sit up, weary with sleep
I want a drink
I skitter down the stairs without a thought
Then, out the kitchen window I see a very amazing sight
Purple, pink, and blue
A very vibrant hue
I see the northern lights on this very special night!
