The Hidden Menace

You walk past the bushes where he silently hides,
Camouflaged by all of his black and orange stripes.
Quietly he follows, unbeknownst to you,
You better run before you become tiger food.

Now he is gaining, you better beware,
He's coming to eat you, and although it is rare,
It is true that a tiger will occasionally pounce,
And eat you alive, every pound, every ounce.

You're walking down the trail, talking to your friends,
When all of a sudden the path comes to an end!
The tiger walks up, he's got you cornered now,
You have to escape, but where to? And how?

The tiger inspects you, and sees your tiger spray,
He really is hungry, but he starts to back away.
Stomach still grumbling he walks back to his den,
You might have gotten away this time, but he'll come back again.
