Animals Hidden

Hidden in a hollow tree
Is a fuzzy squirrel,
Sleeping peacefully.
Hidden in the grass green
Is a small young grasshopper,
Never seen.
Hidden in a simple clamshell
Is a young octopus,
He sure can hide well.
Hidden in a sturdy box
Are a couple of kittens,
Not a fox.
As nature hides its animals so well
All I’m saying is,
Camouflage is swell!
