Hidden
was my love for you
a light under a bed
until you uncovered it
and asked me what
I planned to do with it

Ridden
was the ride you planned out for me
with its ups and downs
until I was so dizzy
with my apprehension
and with my happiness

Written
is what I wish for my love to be
on every page, with every pen
until the whole world knows
what became of that
light under my bed

Rewritten
was my life
because you called me daughter
until all I could do
was let my love overflow
from the cup you gave me
