Food Money

Jacob worked at a pizza shop called Mi Piace La Pizza, because he needed money to
buy a computer, as his old one had broken. A few days ago, he came up with a brilliant plan to
get money. He decided to trick customers into paying $5 extra for their orders.

The first customer bought lots of food, and Jacob charged $28 when the bill should’ve
been $23, but the second person only bought a little. By the end of the second day he only
made $68.

“I'm never going to get a computer,” he groaned, “unless I charge even more
money.”

The next week, he made customers pay $20 more than the real price. By Saturday
almost nobody was at the shop. People complained the pizza was too expensive, so he lowered
prices so he would only earn $10 extra.

The shop was very busy for a few months. Later, he went to the electronics store to buy
a computer, but he was too late. The last computer was gone!

“No!” he exclaimed. He dashed to the car, heading toward a different store. When he reached the other
store, he noticed the prices were way higher than the first shop. He needed more money.

One day, some customers got angry because of the prices and yelled, “This is the worst
pizza shop ever!''

The owner, Leo, came and realized Jacob was making customers pay extra. Jacob tried to explain, but Leo didn't let him finish. “You're fired!” he said.

Jacob quickly made a hot dog stand near a construction site with hungry workers. He
sold the hot dogs and slowly made lots of money.

He went to the electronics shop. On the way, he saw a man with a computer. Jacob hoped it wasn't the last computer. When he reached the electronics shop, he saw the owner making customers pay extra.

Then he noticed he wasn’t any different. He had been lying to customers, too.  He decided to give his money to charity. He took his old, cardboard hot dog stand and made money the right way.
