Attack of the Fifty-Foot Pet

I hear shrieking through my ears as kids scream. I see the giant footprints on the ground and know that something is wrong. I see blood splattered on the trees and crushed bones. I hear a noise that sounds like a woof and a meow mixed together. It was a really loud “moofow”! I hide behind a bush when the huge dog-cat monster stares around looking for some humans to eat.

I bet you’re confused! One minute I was playing with my dog Buster in the Pet Park, and then all of a sudden all the dogs and cats attached together into a giant creature.

The owners were running around scared because the dog-cat was chasing them around. And then something scarier happened! All the owners started joining together and making a giant owner even bigger than the dog-cat! Since I was an owner I started getting pulled to the giant human.

I held on really tight to the bush. Then the dog-cat started making its “moofow” sound a lot. The bush started getting ripped out of the ground. I held really, really tight onto the roots so I wouldn’t get sucked into the human monster.

Then the roots snapped! I went flying into the huge creature and became part of it. We started to chase the dog-cat with a giant leash made out of all the other leashes.

We finally caught the dog-cat, and it started shrinking back! So did we! And everybody got their dogs and cats back!

I was really happy that I got Buster back . . . but I’m never going to that park again!
