Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue
Sorry, this is
Sorry, this is kind of un related to this month's issue, ut I just found out that I can ask about things on this website. If it's not legal to post something not related to this month, I understand. But anyway, to my point.
My family had a subscrpiction to Cricket a while ago. It was given to us by my Aunt. The subscription ended in the middle of a science fiction story called In Search Of...
Right now, I'm trying to read some science fiction short stories for school. This one came to mind. Does anyone know if there is a place that I could read it online?

No, sorry, I don't get Cricket anymore. I got my first issue of Cicada and it's great!! But, for some reason, I got 2 of the same issue. I don't know why. And then my brother got 2 of the same issue for Muse (I think it is). My grandma ordered these for us, so it could be her fault (she's not exactly computer-saavy :D) but I dunno.

You could go to the issue you have, that had In Search Of, then search ISO and the author on the net. It might be published in a short story novel. (I did that for the Star Shard, I found a Star Shard story, but it wasn't the one that all Cricketers raved about)

Thanks, everybody. I did try searching it but I didn't find any. I found a copy of the magazine, though. Lovely ending.

@ Olive: Have you not read The Star Shard? It's here on our website! I subscribed to Cricket too late to read it, but I found it here while exploring. It's here: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/starshard. At least, I'm assuming we're allowed to post links to other parts of the Web site even if they're not ChatterBox. Sorry if I'm wrong, Admin.
But please do read it if you haven't! It's wonderful! The Cricketers know what they're talking about when they rave!
@ R~D~: If you keep receiving duplicate issues and it gets bothersome, you can let them know (if you want), and they'll stop sending them. It's on the main Cricket Web site. I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to there; probably not... There's a link here on this Web site already, though! Just click the big cricket in the circle in the top left corner of the website (scroll up to find it) labeled 'kids.' You can also click the word 'subscribe' at the bottom of the page in the blue stripe. Or you can just type it and go to it like you would a normal Web site--the address is like this one, but without 'kids.' Anyway, click 'customer service,' then click 'received a duplicate issue.' Fill out the form. You should probably be able to figure it out yourself from that point...
@ Hannah: If you want to read In Search Of... enough that you're willing to pay money for it, you can go to the Web site I'm talking about, type 'backissues' after the slash at the end, go to the Cobblestone Publishing link, click 'Magazines,' go to the box in which you would add something to your cart, and change the magazine you want to buy to whichever one has the article in it. Then buy it.
@ Everyone: Sorry if this is confusing and/or completely unnecessary. I hope it at least makes any sense at all.
@ Admin: Sorry for so many semi-links. But at least they're links that are here on the website anyway...
Ima, it's fine to mention links to our other sites. We have control over them. Thanks for helping these other Chatterboxers. Hannah, you could also look for the back issues with In Search Of in it at a library.

Yeah we really can't help you!
Sorry !!!!!
But what Olive said is as close as your gonna get!!

@Ima: *jaw drops* I never knew they had that. I now deem Google unreliable. Thanks! I'll read it right after I do my homework (which I should be doing right now)
@Hannah: Yeah, you can also do what Ima suggested. (And you can always go on Ebay or something for cheaper prices I think.)

You could google science fiction, but that's about all I've got. Sorry I wasn't a big help.
