Hi, Admin. First of all, thanks for making such a fun chat room. I love submitting new threads and posting on old ones. But there's been a problem lately. Everything seems to be slowing down. Someone had posted a comment 20 hours ago that still hasn't come up. What is happening? Are you on vacation?

I know it has been a long time since CJ posted this but again things are slowing down. Are any of the Admins on break?? I saw on one of my threads someone posted 13 hours ago and it still isn't on yet.

Just wondering, but do you guys work at home, Admins or at Cricket HQ that happens to be in Peru? (and yes, I know Peru's in Illinois as well as SA) :-)
We work both in the office and at home. When the office is closed we can log on from a home computer and post comments from there.

PS: Do any of the Admins attend or are planning to attend college? Just curious :)
All current Admins have already graduated.

Is one of the Admins vacationing? TNO posted a comment 13 or more hours ago and it didn't show up! And if one of the the Admin is vacationing, where are they?
I don't know what the others are doing. They may be busy with something else. Sometimes you just have to be patient.

I have a question: I posted three reviews in the Cricket Readers Recommend, and all of them never showed up. Why???
I've been posting all the CRRs I've seen. I haven't heard that other Admins have deleted any. The only ones we would not publish would be those on books that are really inappropriate for Cricket readers, but I don't remember seeing any like that. Have you looked on the back pages? As far as being published in the magazine, we don't have room to publish all that we receive there. That's why we're happy to have the Web site with no limit on space.

I was wondering if maybe you could give us a schedule of times, when ya'll will be approving posts???
I'm sorry, we can't do that, because all the Admins have other publishing responsibilites on workdays and normal activities at home and with friends and families in the evenings and on weekends. It's hard to predict workload and schedules. We never know how much editorial work will arrive in the mail, how many contest entries, letters, stories, etc. I am mostly responsible for evenings and weekends, but I have places to go sometimes, too. I can tell you that, beginning at the end of August, I'll have an orchestra rehearsal on Monday evenings, so I won't post until very late that evening. I do make every effort to post comments as soon as I possibly can.
