@Wren - Stars to the Sands

Hi! Here's our chat thread <3 I decided to call it "Stars to the Sands," which I hope is okay. I chose it based on our locations "somewhere in the stars" and "lost to the sands of time" :D

I'm so glad to see you back! I missed you a whole lot :D What have you been up to? Are you excited for high school (and are you homeschooling or going to public school, if you want to say?) Are you reading any awesome comics or watching any great TV shows? Do you want to talk about Cursed Princess Club?? How many questions is too many questions? XD

And thanks for responding to my post on confessions. Maybe we can talk about that a little here, if you want?

I'm so happy you're back!! <333

Woah, I love the name! <3 It's very pretty.

I'm glad to be back! I missed you a bunch, and was really sad I wasn't able to be on as much as I wanted to be. I've just started high school (I'm staying homeschooled) and it's already a ton of work, although it's not half bad. I have a nice group of friends (aside from the creepy and sorta mean ones :/) that I go to PE with (L goes to PE too >:D), and I've started doing robotics! Recently I've started the manga Delicious Dungeon and finished reading Spy x Family, and I started a new book called Miss Peregrine's House for Peculiar Children. I'm also finishing the prequel to the Maze Runner series: The Kill Order. Sure, we can talk about the CPC! I love that webcomic, and I actually got my brother into it! :D (He's not typically into that sort of thing.)

Anyway, how are you doing? Have you read or written any new stories lately? Are you excited for high school? Are you taking any extracurricular activities or electives that you're excited for? Also, I read about your stuffed cat a while back called Jellycat. That's so cute! I have a plush frog named Kermy (Kermit) or Leif (I call him both names) who I've decided uses he/it/frog pronouns. Also no, there's never too many questions! :D

Sure, if you want to talk about your post in confessions, we can! It's up to you, I don't want you to be uncomfortable. <333

I'm so glad to be back!!

Love (/p!),

-Wren

P.S. I figured out I use they/it/faer (primarily they/it) pronouns and that I'm bi. :D

Cool! Sorry to hear some of your friends are lame, though :/ we can talk about it if you want, but we don’t have to.

Who’s your favorite CPC character? I’m totally indecisive with favorite things in general, but I love all four of the Pastel siblings. Gwen is a fantastic main character, Jamie provides good comic relief (while coming into his own throughout the story, though - also he and Leopold are so cute), Lorena is just plain awesome, and Maria is so sweet <3 I also love Prez. I really liked Fredrick’s development, Whitney’s was interesting too. Did you finish it yet? Congrats on getting your brother into it! Whenever I try to get my sister excited about anything I like, she just rolls her eyes XD

I’m doing alright, mostly. I’m sort of anxious about school. I do think I’m excited, but just worried about the big change and stuff. I got a pixie cut, which I’ve been wanting to do since forever, though, and that’s really cool! And I went to see The Outsiders: The Musical on Broadway. Have you read that book? If not, you absolutely need to. I’ve written a little bit - I worked on my ski lodge and I’ve written some poems, plus a short story for the short story contest. And I have a few little side projects, one of which I’m particularly excited about…

I’m doing cross country for a sport, and my electives are concert choir and graphic design. There’s a few clubs I want to try in high school, like Spectrum Club (most other schools would call this a Gay-Straight Alliance or a Queer-Straight Alliance, among other names; Spectrum Club is what my school calls it), Dungeons and Dragons Club, and Harmonics (the a cappella group which I’ll have to audition for so I might not get in). I also want to do the musical in the spring! I probably won’t audition for the fall play, though, because freshmen hardly get in anyway and I’ll be busy learning my way around the school. Maybe next year. What sorts of things are you up to?

This talk of high school reminds me - have you heard of the college Vassar? It seems like a place you might like if you decide to go to college. It’s pretty hard to get in, but maybe you should check it out. It’s really diverse and creative and stuff. I know it’s early to even think about college, but I thought someone should put it on your radar :p

Yeah, I’ve got a lot of stuffed animals! Jellycat’s been with me since I was little. He is a slightly overconfident wannabe superhero who I love dearly. I’ve got some others, like Tiny the baby elephant, who’ve also been with me a while, and some newer ones.

Random, but do you like Star Wars? I do, and I feel like you’d love the animated TV shows. I think you’d probably like Rebels and The Bad Batch the best. You’d definitely love Sabine from Rebels, Omega from Bad Batch, and Ahsoka from Clone Wars, I think. I just asked because I’m listening to The Bad Batch soundtrack, which I’m quite fond of <3

I love music, if I haven’t said so yet. Mostly I’m a singer, but I am learning to play the keyboard. I’ve developed such an appreciation for good soundtracks.

Well, as they sing in The Outsiders, “I could talk to all night,” but I’ll stop yapping now lol. Gn! <3

Oops, misspelled the name of the college. Vassar is what I mean.

I fixed it in your original comment.
