Advice Column: Lots of people have started school or are starting very soon. What are some of your back-to-school tips? Try to leave some time, even it's just a few minutes a day, to do the things you love - you shouldn't have to abandon your passions because you're too busy for them! And it'll make you feel much better to be able to keep in touch with the things that make you happy. Other than that, try listening to exciting/motivating music and looking forward to all the wonderful things that may be on the way (you may not think they're wonderful, but they make up your life and your identity and they're important and valuable [unless they're awful, of course]),

LotM: Where will you be this month? (Reminder to type it in to your location box first to make sure it fits :) )  "September gold" - I just like this one because September always seems like a really golden month, with the late evening sunlight and the leaves starting to turn yellow and everything.

Advice Column: Check what school supplies you need (like notebooks and folders), make some new friends, check your schedule if you have one and draw them on your school map, do your best and keep your head up!

advice column:

get into a good sleep pattern like a week before school--i know a lot of my friends sleep in until like 11am every day and then start school and can't stay awake during the day. so i would say waking up around 7am (depending on when your school starts) and not going to bed past 10pm is generally a good rule--or whatever works for you!

oh and eat breakfast. seriously. sometimes you might not be hungry in the morning but trust me it's going to hit you later and you always need to start the day with nutrition.

Advice Column: :/ Look back over your schoolwork from last year, find ways to really interest yourself in what you're studying, enjoy the social scene... say I who am homeschooled :P
