I'm so sorry I thought I already made this post but Ig I didn't... I think I'm gonna have to pull out of this bc I'm barely keeping up with RPs and irl homework and stuff as it is and I currently don't have time for another chat thread, especially so close to finals... I'll try to check back in if I think I can do it but for now you can just assume that I'm not able to, thank you

Other: I saw the first turkey vulture of the season days ago and now when ever I see something big flying there's a 55% chance of it being a vulture. 44% chance of being a bald eagle and 1% chance of being something else.

I know I say this a lot around here but idk if you've seen it yet sorry if you have but basically a few months ago I read The Hawk's Way (first day of school I put an order in for it but they took months to get it to me (not complaining btw, I'm so glad they got it!) so it took a while) and IT WAS SO GOOD thank you for the recommendation and then RIGHT AFTER I FINISHED my first red-shouldered hawk (hawk in general- at least that I've noticed) of the season just swooped over me and landed in the tree next to me like magic and it was so amazing and majestic and thank you!!!!
oh and now The Hawk's Way is on display at my school's library for Earth Day which it wouldn't even be at the library if you hadn't recommended it and now everyone can read it too so yay!

Wait you saw a red-shouldered hawk!??!!! Are so sure it wasn't a cooper's, sharp shinned or red tail??? It's rare where I live (I live in the north so there are only coooper's, sharp shinned, red tails and bald eagles, the rarest hawk I've seen (not in captivity) was the rough legged hawk) and I've never seen one before...Also if you are ever on a highway, look at the street lamps and I will guarantee that you will see a red tailed hawk (at least if you are in the US). But that's so cool that The Hawk's Way is on display at your school! I am convinced that my school only cares about humans.
