Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue
February MCU Prep?
February MCU Prep? I think BookGirl has already volunteered to host this MCU, but if she doesn't want to I can always fill the post :) *drumroll* If you want an honored position as Helper of an MCU, here are the things we'll be needing:
~Quotes (book/CB/inspirational)
~Important Dates
~Book of the Month
~Monthly Playlist
~Suggestions for LMWAY and Advice Column

I can do important dates, and/or inspirationaly quotes! Also, can I host the next MCU? the March one?

i can help! i've been really busy with school lately, so i don't think i can do a ton of stuff - i could probably do the monthly playlist, though, unless someone else wants to do that?
for the LMWAY, maybe we could do something like "give us your funniest (cb appropriate of course) pick up lines" in honor of valentine's day? or something valentine's-day-related, maybe. or cb-related, because of the reunion? idk
lmk if there's anything you need me to do~
(January 11, 2024 - 10:04 pm)
I'm happy to do CB quotes (or book quotes)!
(January 12, 2024 - 12:47 am)
Actually, I'll just do inspirational quotes :) but ofc I'll do anything else that needs to be done before Feb
(January 14, 2024 - 3:31 pm)
@all, yes, it would be great if you could do those things! @Hawkstar, ofc you can host the March one :) I'd like to host another one fairly soon, though, so if I don't do this one maybe I could reserve April? (To think we actually have a waiting list XD)
(January 15, 2024 - 8:53 pm)
Haha, yes, we have a waiting list now XD BookGirl (if she does do this month) then me, then you!! But I think that's a good thing??
(January 16, 2024 - 12:44 pm)
Oh and I forgot, we also need someone to do Threads to Check - I can do that if no one else does, though.

Those are wonderful - ty :)
@all, what should we have for LMWAY and Advice Column? It would be good to post them fairly soon, since it's already getting towards February. Maybe the Advice Column could be something like "What's your favorite thing to do in February, when not much is going on"? Suggestions are welcome, though :)
(January 22, 2024 - 8:53 pm)
We could also do something to do with leap day this year, like how will you celebrate leap day (if people even celebrate it) or your opinions on it?
(January 22, 2024 - 9:22 pm)
Maybe for Advice Column or LMWAY, things to do in the last leg of the very cold season? Hehe, simular to your suggestion

why did i struggle so much to find february songs that weren't exclusively sappy love songs?? anyway it's a ~mixtape~ rather than a playlist this month in honor of valentine's day (because people supposedly make each other mixtapes then?) :P
February Mixtape~
2/14 - The Band CAMINO
Little Of Your Love - HAIM
Power of Two - The Indigo Girls
I Choose You - Sara Bareilles
crushcrushcrush - Paramore
maybe the advice column could be something like "what are some nice things you can do for yourself this month?" or something about self-care? idk
