Whoa that's pretty cool! It sounds like it would be super humid though. Was it? I've never had durian. What does it taste like?
That's so cool! You must have seen a lot of cool wildlife. Were you in the city or more in nature?
Nice! Well, I don't write poetry a lot, but I do a lot more freestyle now as well. I've also experimented with two voices poems and those are really fun.
I like this one where you ride in a giant tire around a river and occasionally get splashed. What about you?
Haha yeah! Oh my gosh, capybaras are so cute! Do you know when you get to go back?
Yeah it's really fun. I love the mountains there, but especially the rivers. Where I go in Washington the rivers are so clean and clear and it's amazing. And of course seeing family and friends and going to eat. We have our favorite restaurants that we make the rounds of.

Yeah it was pretty humid. Hmm, well durian kind of tastes like a banana or custard. Some people love it, while others don't. Have you tried any unusual fruits?
I was in the city more, so I didn't see as much wildlife as I would in nature.

I like log rides because of the splash and it tends to have less intensity.

Hmm sounds good! I'd love to try it. Well I don't think any fruits I've tried really count as that exotic. Well actually I've had these berries that were really cool. My friend ordered them and they change anything sour into being sweet. It was really cool.

Well we mostly stay on one side so I haven't seen much of the cities, but there are some really beautiful mountains and rivers. We've gone since I can remember.
Agreed. We went to New York for our 8th grade trip and it was so fun! What was your favorite class trip?
I also prefer rivers! I love that they are so clear and clean. My close second would be mountain lakes.

Probably one to some tide pools. We didn't really go on a lot of class trips though. What was your favorite part of the new York trip?

I love rivers and mountains in the Pacific Northwest! The rivers are so clean and cold because they come from the snow melt right off the mountains. And the mountains are so tall and gorgeous and so fun to hike. Do you have a favorite ocean or river spot?
Thats still really cool! What was your favorite thing you saw there? I loved just being with my friends in New York City. We even got to meet a famous online person! (Although admittedly I didn't know who he was haha)
Ooh my favorite is this one called the Basin and you hike up to it. It's literally a lake t the type of a mountain! It's so cool.
They are cute! They're kinda quirky creatures; I like watching them.
Ooh that's a good one. I might try to describe a feeling, but I'm not quite sure what feeling it would be. I feel like the English language has a lot of words, some unnecessary lol

Yess I went to Oregon once and everything was beautiful. Like the mountain's and the rivers were really pretty. Hmm, I don't exactly have one, though maybe the ones in National parks? Like Yosemite.
Heh well I didn't really explore the tidepools. Me and my friend just built a sandcastle the whole time. There were many seabirds though! That sounds fun! Did you see the statue of liberty?

Yeah that's true. Like there are so many synonyms for words, though each one does have a unique meaning and feeling to it.
I would probably say something like mythical or majestic or something along those lines. I also like the word nostalgia. What about you?

that's still cool! Was it a cool sandcastle? Yeah we did get to see the Statue of Liberty! But we didn't get to stop and tour it unfortunately. We did get to go to Ellis Island though, which was cool!
Nice! Nostalgia is a good one. I feel like random words for obscure loves or fears are really cool.

No I don't. I haven't been to a lot of them so I don't think I could make that decision. Do you have a favorite National Park?

I got a new book yesterday! I'm so excited! I was literally at the bookstore for 45 minutes and could've stayed forever!
Nice! I don't know if I have a favorite holiday. I love Hanukkah though, especially when I go to the Hanukkah party with my friends.
Favorite snack would be fruit, and that changes. Like in the summer I absolutely love watermelon and could eat so much of it any time. For favorite candy I would say a 100 grand chocolate bar and/or sour patch kids. What about you?

Erin Hunter is actually a pseudonym of several authors (including Vicky Holmes, Cherith Baldry, Kate Cary, and Tui T. Sutherland!) They wrote Warriors, as well as Seekers, Survivors, and Bravelands.

Yeah, like words where you can hear/feel/smell/etc the meaning and it's not a great sound/smell/touch/etc. :)

It's called Children of Anguish and Anarchy and it's the third book in a reaaaaally great series: The Orisha Legacy (I believe that's the title)

Yosemite is pretty fun! There's waterfalls and mountain views and trees and rocks...and apparently, the waterfall is frozen during the winter, which is cool.
Yeah.
My favorite book...I'm not sure in particular, though the Last Hope in the Warriors series was a good book. (But don't read it first! Read Into the Wild if you want to get into Warriors)

I am sooooo sorry it's taken this long to respond! Soccer started a couple weeks ago and I just had my first week of high school and I am exhausted!
I've never read Warriors although I have heard good things! Would you recommend it?
The Orisha Legacy series is about a girl who returns magic to her people and her story. It represents Black female power rising under oppression underneath the magical plot. It's soooo good! The first book is called Children of Blood and Bone.
Agreed! Pickle chips are salty and also a bit vinegary. They taste closest to sea salt vinegar but they don't make your mouth pucker as much and the flavor is slightly different.
Well in the summer we run or rollarski (although I can't do that yet XD) and in the winter we do things like intervals or distance skis and then we play games. My favorite is dodgeball.
Yes I can imagine! I'm right handed, but I wear my watch on my right hand which some people think is strange. Do you have a watch?
I agree. It's a struggle for me because my soccer teams use group chats on Snapchat and I'm the only one who doesn't have it so I miss out on communicaton. I definitely don't want it but it's hard. What do you think?
