Cats and dogs are intolerable. Bite my head off, but I harbor no partiality to any mammal other than humans. I, too, am allergic, but if I receive any sympathy I will ignore it, because I really could not care less about such creatures. Some people love them... okay, whatever. I myself don't like animals much. Parde mua for being so recalcitrant.

I DO NOT LIKE DOGS, especially medium and large black-and-white ones. I sort of carry a grudge against medium or large black-and-white dogs since that dog killed one of ducks. Poor Betty.

I love animals - if it moves, I like it. I love dogs. They're friendly, frisky, faithful, reliant - there's something about a big sheepdog or German Shepherd that is reassuring. Sure, there are bad dogs, but there are of any animal. But cats have a sort of untameableness, an inherant wildness with the ability to maul you in an instant lurking behind their eyes that is immensely appealing - it's a characteristic shared with horses, which is why I like them so much too. Cats are always dignified, never forgetting that they were once worshipped in Egypt. They wish that would come back, and until it does they act like it's here already. I don't have a favorite between cats and dogs. Sorry. If this was a letter to Muse, they'd replace the whole thing with a HPB. Muse rocks in that regard. Cricket should have BPG.
