Here's the prep thread for the October MCU, as promised. Rora did a great job hosting for the September issue, but we were really short on time, and didn't have all the submissions.
Let's try to have the LMWAY & Advice Column questions out by the 15th so we can post a thread asking other CBers for their submissions. :)
Also, I can host this month, if that's okay with everyone else! :D

Oh...I completely forgot about this. Maybe for the LMWAY we could do something halloween related? Like what is the most creative costume you can think of? And yes, you can host this month.

I loved hosting last month's MCU, I think you'll have a lot of fun! Just remind me what your AEs are again....? I'm not familiar with them.

aaaaah i completely forgot about this, what with school starting & everything!
so i guess i'll get started on the november mcu issue?
my AEs are Barnacle (he/him), Fir (they/them), Mirage (she/her), and Koi (who's a cat) (she/her).
it'd be great if you could do threads to check out, i'll do quotes again, and if no one else wants to do it, i'll do important dates.
we also need to come up with the LMWAY. I already have an idea for the Advice Column: how can you show your thanks to the people around you? (because of thanksgiving in november)
oh and thank you so much, rora, for being interested in the mcu :)

Yeah, of course! if there's anything specific you'd like to do (if you want, you can look through previous mcus for ideas) you can do that. we also need the important dates & LMWAY if youd like to do either of those. :)

Here's a suggestion for the LMWAY question: "What are you most grateful for this year?" It's kind of Thanksgiving-related :)

@Poinsettia: The dates are holidays, observances, and other fun holidays (Thanksgiving, Election Day, Book Lovers Day). A quick google search should yield many results to pick & choose from! :) And that's a great LMWAY question :D

Anyway, an MCU is a monthly check up, and it includes a lot of really fun things like LMWAY, (Last month we asked you) or Threads to check. You can check out the September MCU, I did that one. You put your AEs into it! It's real fun to write!
