Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

I would like to say that I did not like the story in the November 2009 issue, called "Jason and Jonathan: a Hanukkah Story". For three reasons.

First, it suggests that the true story of David killing Goliath is like the fictional story of Oddesyus and the cyclops.

Second, it says that the Jews and the ancient Greeks worshipped the same God. (by the way it was an altar, not a temple.)

Third, and this is almost like the second point, they are trying to say that worshipping one God and worshipping many gods are the same thing and equally valid.

Some people might say this stuff is true, but it is my opinion that stories which push certain religious beleifs are very likely to offend or put people off.  Thank you respectfully for listening to my opinion.
