I would not like to be the host, I just created this thread because I thought it should be created. I do want to participate, but I thought I'd follow everyone else's lead since I'm new here.

I was thinking, we could do an AE Debate Section, where all our AE's debate something trivial passionately, and we post it in the issue for laughs. We should also do Threads To Check Out like Writing did (which was genius), and no one really writes that section, we all submit threads we feel should be included.

Yes, the featured art sounds good!
I mean, one of us every edition does a short article about whatever they want. Like this month it could be my turn, and I could do a few paragraphs about the history of the Japanese writing system, which fascinates me for whatever reason (if it's okay with the admins, of course. It's not really about Japanese writing systems and stuff, just about where it came from how & why- I'd only use three Japanese words: kana, kanji and romaji- three writing systems.

Hey everyone~
I'm sorry, but I won't be able to host for the January issue. We might go visit my grandma at the beginning of January, because it's my great grandma's 90th b-day. We might decide to go a bit later in the month, so it's entirely possible I might be able to go on my computer afterall.
Since we're still not sure, I don't want to agree to something and then have to back out last moment. Hopefully I'll be able to host some other time, but for right now some one else will have to do it.
I'll still do the Important Dates section, and @Periwinkle, if you'd like me to figure out a question for the Advice Column or LMWAY, I can do that too. (I might do quotes, if I have time, but I'll do the other, more important stuff first.)
Oh and @Hiraeth, that sounds good! Maybe the art can somehow be related to the month? (Like winter or new years or whatever for January) Anyway, featured art sounds like a great idea!

Quick question- does the Advice Column and LMWAU sections go in the pre-MCU post for people to answer, or in the main post for people to answer and us to display in March?

I want to do a Winners section. We/I would get stuff from contests, like the Poetry contest. For the Poetry contest, we would post the poem that won. Or something like that. Otherwise, I want to do a thing I thought would be fun. I/we would interview CBers that post less (if they want to) and post a link to one of their threads.

That's a good idea, Pancake! In previous MCUs, there were CBer awards. I've posted a link to an example of CBer awards. (I split the link in half because otherwise it would cut off, just copy + paste the two seperate halves)
