I am new!
Since many people may not have heard of GoldenLionTamarin, so I'll introduce myself.
Helllo, I am GoldenLionTamarin, although you can call me GLT. I am VERY new to CB. I heard about it through Cricket since I get it and since I wanted to have a place to communicate with other people (as of today, I have only one friend who I hang out with regularly, and he just moved out).
I have a few questions for whoever can answer them:
1. When was CB created?
2. What are all the sections supposed to be for? I know about BaB, but am not so familiar with This month, CaC, PP, DtE, and Inkwell.
Here is some facts about me: I play the piano and the ukulele, and I am starting to learn guitar. I once built a ukulele, and that is the one I use mostly. I have once composed a song for the piano. I am really into rock. I also am really into coding. I have one dog that knows how to Shake, Lie Down, Roll Over, and do many other tricks.

Hi GLT! welcome to the chatterbox :) I'm Tealeaf, and if I'm not mistaken, the CB was created in 2008. it's so cool that you like coding! I've tried to learn some, but didn't get very far. This Month is for talking about each month's issue of Cricket. CaC was originally for talking to the Buggies, but now it's mostly used for games and stuff like SI's. DtE is for talking about real-world things, like climate change, school, or pretty much anything else. A lot of AE stuff happens there too. PP is for art! drawing contests, poetry, music and ski lodges. And lastly, Inkwell is for writing. I hope this help, and see you around! <33

You know those boxes that they give you every month and you build something from it? I get one called EurekaCrate, and one of the boxes was a uke! I've been learning it ever since :)

The same day I joined the CB, I had gone to the zoo and saw a Golden Lion Tamarin eating orange peels from an egg carton. That was the funniest thing ever, so I decided to use it as my CB name.

Have you read Wings Of Fire? 'Cause there's a character named Tamarin, who, in my opinion, is kinda amazing. And she's Kinkajou's friend!
But, hey! Welcome. I'm sorta new, too, but I didn't really think of making an introductory thread, so oh well.

I have never read Wings of Fire, and I do not plan to read it anytime soon (no offense to anyone who likes the series).
Why?
I tried reading Wings of Fire once, for a book club, but the prologue was way too violent. Correct me if that is another series that has a prologue or has a violent prologue.
However, I may reconsider it...

Hi GLT! I'm new to the CB too! I'm Leila. I love gymnastics, music, biking, hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, sledding, reading, writing, math, fungi, jellyfish.
It's cool that you can code! I'm sorry your friend just moved out. Hopefully you can make new friends.
