Please post what you are doing during the summer. Provide a short explanation of it.
I went to my friend's birthday party! There was a water slide and a video game truck where I played mincraft!

A magazine? That's sooo cool!
Yesterday I went to a pool party with my Girl Scout troop. It was super fun--when I got home it was only 9:45 but I fell right asleep!!! Lol I guess the hours of aimlessly yelling "polo" and "marco" tired me out.
I'm also doing two weeks of surf camp, which basically means that I'm going to surf and body surf and boogie board and swim in the ocean from 9-5.
And I'm doing a camp that's all outdoors and nature-y and we do lots of hikes and stuff like that.
I'm also going to a wedding in August (my cousin's), and I"m going to be the flower girl.
Okay, I feel like I forgot something but that's all I think...
Happy summer! I get out of school on Wednesday.

Surf camp sounds so fun! I wish I lived near the ocean. My school gets out next Monday and I'm going to Cape Cod for a few days right after.

Wonderful idea!

School hasn't ended yet for me (sadly), but I did meet up with my friend for the first time since the pandemic started yesterday, which was fun! :D

On Saturday, we washed our dog, and my sister and I had a dance party complete with splashing water in the air and spraying ourselves with a hose. Yesterday, I helped blow up our pool, and we spent the afternoon complaining about how cold it was, and having a lot of fun.
<ktyct> Hmm, is there a Kitty, Connecticut? *does a quick Google search* I don't think so. Maybe we should found one!

I'm gonna do tie-dye this summer! I found a really cool website with a lot of patterns.

Cool! I went to a camp for school where we tie-dyed shirts and it was a lot of fun! I was suprised on how well they all came out!

Summer vacation hasn't started for me yet, though I do know what I will be doing most of the summer. School ends on the 25th for me; and on July 4th I am leaving for camp from which I will return on the August 1st. After that I am probably going to go visit family, but we aren't sure yet.

Tomorrow is my B-Day (I'M TURNIN' 13!!!!!!!!!!!) so I'm gonna have my birthday party tomorrow, and I REALLY want Ripley-Wren, her brother, and my grandma to visit, 'cause I want Ripley and I to build a kingdom in Minecraft, and I want to play in the pool with her, and I'm expectin' some Lego hairstyles in the mail, so I can paint 'em! (You lizards should REALLY try it! Especially when you're listenin' to your fave song! Really nice actuvity for a rainy day! Plus, the hairstyles aren't borin' old hairstyles that everyone has, like, 50 copies of; They'll be your, yes, YOUR OWN ORIGINALS!!!!!!!!!) And I'm also gonna play in my pool, binge-watch The Monkees, and listen to The Monkees, and day-dream 'bout Mike Nesmith, and also write songs!

Going to the Chesapeake Bay and North Beach this week, mild weather and sea breezes - what a wonderful way to relax before the start of camp programs!

Happy summer!
This summer I've been making sustainable products to sell at the nearby farmer's market. My family members have a booth that I will rent a part of. I've made so far a rattle with seeds inside that you can plant and it is from tape, a paper toilet roll, and marker decoration; a doll named Monterey that has a seed nose, paper roll body, wood chip and rock eyes, a water balloon mouth, and a wood chip holding stick; as well as some paper which I am working on. I will try to make paper or cardboard slippers. I would wear some of those! Even if my projects don't sell or turn out well, this is a reminder to stay creative and in service of your beautiful, nourishing earth. The money will go to conservation organizations.
A note about water balloons VERY IMPORTANT: water balloons are sometimes labelled biodegradable, which people think is better than when they are not. But in fact, these never completely go away, but turn into pieces that they eye cannot see called microplastic. But still dangerous! Instead of delicious prey, animals eat these. They can cause an obstruction or something else terrible and are just plain NOT FOOD.
Have a good summer, conserve your local area.

I have a daily task list, which helps me be productive. Believe it or not this was my idea, not my parents.
(July 9, 2021 - 3:36 pm)
I'm going to theater camp! Our show is on Thursday, and I'm super nervous! We practice outside because of COVID, but it's soooo hot, and we're out here from 9 to 3, so there's a lot of gatorade being consumed.
