Hi Dewdrop! I have never moved before, but an idea of something you could do is take pictures of your house/ apartment; what you are living in and make a memory book. Also, are you moving to a different place as in a new state or are you just moving houses? If you are moving to a new state then you could get your friends numbers if you have a phone or get their adresses so you can write to them!

One thing I like to do when I move is on the last day, I walk around the property and the house taking it all in one last time. Sometimes I am so focused that I even notice something I thought wasn't there before!

Four years ago I moved from NYC to Southern California, and I also moved twice back in NY. I would say that since you're not moving states, you probably will be able to keep most of your same friends (?) but if you're starting a new school, that's always something scary and I don't have a TON of advice about it, even though I've gone to new schools three times. But, I will say that keeping an open mind about friends, and remembering that you're not the only one who feels like they don't have friends is a good thing. Lots of people are in/have been in your shoes!!!
And, also, maybe try taking something with you from your old bedroom to your new bedroom, or going out to the store and buying something fun (like a poster, or a pillow, or a cute lamp shade or something :), that will make moving into your new room exciting.
And, one last thing: it's okay to take some stuff with you, but don't try to take EVERY SINGLE THING from your old house to your new house; change is hard, and of course you will feel like you need to take everything with you, but you really don't. It's okay to have a totally new fresh start.
Congrats on your move!
