Just a question.  I was considering submitting a story to a magazine (specifically Balloons Lit, Journal) but I had already posted it on Chatterbox before I started considering this.  If I do decide to submit it would having it on Chatterbox create copyright problems if it was accepted to be published?  If it does would asking you to delete the story fix these problems?

Hi, Peregrine! Great question. The copywright belongs to you, the writer. Different magazines have different rules about whether they require the author to publish exclusively with them or not and whether they consider you posting to a website to be publication or not.  You would have to check with Balloons Lit on their rules, but we can delete your story if you know the link to it.  Best wishes for putting your work out there! -Admin
