Hi! Here's my prompt, which might need some revision. :) It's for the technical round, so I made it pretty specific.
Our main character is walking home from school when they notice that their cat is up a tree while a dog barks at the bottom. They quickly distract the dog with an item from their backpack, coax the cat down, and return home happily.
Also, I posted on the first round thread about deadlines. I think one day is unrealistic due to people being busy and it taking a long time to write anything of quality, so I'm suggesting giving them a few days per round. What do you think?

Hey guys! The first couple of people posted their stories for the first round, so I thought I'd come over here and share what I thought. Of the three and a half that have been posted, my favorites are Summer's and - who was it - Leeli, maybe? I liked Summer's because I felt totally entrenched in the story and loved hearing about how Miribelle got her name changed and the wonderful friend that was Olivia. I liked Leeli's (if it was Leeli's) because I thought it was creative to make her be a noble and I also really enjoyed the fantasy-style writing and the details about life as a noble lady - plus, she made it so the story was more about her life in general and her name as a metaphor for said life in general, which I thought was really cool.
What did you think?
