I need everyone who entered the contest this month to please raise their hand. Oh, and Cricket, do you send a letter out to everyone who entered, like with the letters to the Letterbox???

 

Yes, everyone who includes a complete mailing address is sent a reply card (if not a winner) or a certificate (if a winner).

I was going to enter the photo contest, but then I missed the deadline...Embarassed

But I want to enter the poetry contest! I guess I should probably get on that.

I plan to enter the poetry contest.

I wrote a story about the curiosity/cat episode. In it, The Cat was an evil king, and Curiosity was the name of a brave young woman. The evil king's death wasn't so bad, really. He'd made a law against reading, and everyone hated him...

Me too! I was trying really hard not to make it sound very bad that The Cat (who wasn't a cat, but people called him that because he treated his subjects the way a cat would treat a mouse) was killed by Curiosoty, so I put that law in to make him look selfish.

I have sent in my poem two days ago. I have only ever entered the poetry contests :P, and I got an honorable mention once, and first prize once. (In the opposites contest!)

So that is why I wanted to enter the photography contest, cause I'm a decent photographer, but I missed it.
